I know what you are referring to - it was a weightlifting coach who entered the competition claiming he was a woman (to make a point that ANY MAN entering the competition claiming to be a woman would be accepted by officials) then he proceeded to break every woman’s record because there were other dudes in the competition who were doing that so he smashed ALL their records to prove how hideous it is for a MAN to be allowed to compete against women in a WOMAN’s competition. He made a point by obliterating the other MEN’s records in the competition. It was not to justify his own ego but to prove how ridiculous this is to allow a MAN to compete in female sports.

Riley did get her trophy. It was just afterward. In the case of a tie, the Trophy goes to the older competitor which was Lia. Riley got a trophy afterwards and was not cheated out of anything.
