These are beautiful! Thank you for so generously sharing your skills and talents. I especially admire your creative use of non-specialized equipment. Many very pretty projects are demonstrated with expensive equipment. That’s discouraging to beginners. Plus, I just like being able to reuse things that otherwise would be trash. Using my creative brain eases the depression my logical brain suffers. Best wishes for your health and that of your dear family, from Maggy

Thank you Lisa. I tried Tatiana’s rimmed soap and found it rather difficult to get the rim even. I love that you simplified the process. I can do this with the method you used with the shorter tubes and loaf mold. It is one of my favorite soaps!! Thank you again for making this easier to do!!

The first utensil you used to cut the thin rims is a cake slicer, to cut thought a cake cut evenly all the way through evenly. Such beautiful soaps and the beauty is you can change up your outside colours and center colours depending how your feeling. Once again very beautiful and creative bars of two types
@IDreamInSoap
@IDreamInSoap 4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your lovely comments as always Tanya. The tool is definitely not a cake slicer though. I actually removed the saw blade that it came with and replaced it with the guitar string. I did go back and research it and found out it is actually a coping saw.

Thank you Mag, oooh yes the peacock swirl, it's such a beautiful swirl and not too much faffing about (well you have to wash squeeze bottles) I was pleased how well it worked in the loaf mold, the design goes beautifully all the way through, not something that always happens with a design that's typically done in a slab mold. I like how you warmed it up in the oven a bit before you curled it! Good tip thanks

Thank you so much, so pleased you liked this tip, yes just warmed very gently, you still have to bend it pretty quickly after you get it out as it cools and goes stiff again quite soon, your hand heat helps as well though. Stay safe and well :-)

I believe you can do anything with soap. Girl I'm trying but I just ain't and never will be as good as you, and all the other soapers on here. I actually thought about making videos to put on here but I'll never be as talented. People will be watching if they watch something very boring. LOL Good job though. I think I'll wait before I try this one.
