pls dont get rid of transhumanist it will just get even further apaert from the original hope idea and closer to the tribal stream game

A 'pink skill' in RimHud represents a skill that has reached it's daily learning limit, dropping any further XP gain for the day by -80%. The treshhold is 4000 XP (net gained).

Also your second Solar Panel needs to be home zoned too so it gets repaired

Suggestion for chuck hauling, just on the random chance that @Quill18 ends up reading the comments 🙂 Set all chucks you want hauled to be hauled, and then make a seperate zone for just those chucks, and turn it off in the generic. That way, if you make a 5 tile zone, only 5 will ever be hauled into your base. 🙂

Hey, Quill! Shelves reduce pawn movement by ~80%. So imo stacking shelves upon shelves with no access route is very inefficient for pawn movement. If the stored item is beyond 3 tiles of shelving then it's like walking 15 regular tiles just to get there. Something like this set up still gets to ~75% of tiles being used for storage, while being quicker to access for your pawns despite the path walked being longer. x_xx_xx_x x_xx_xx_x x_xx_xx_x xxxxxxxxx x is a shelve, _ is an empy space. In this case it is assumed that the left, right and bottom are flanked by the walls of a room. If it's just tiles in a larger room (like your case) then you can double up shelves there.

Just like most things that impede movement in the game, shelves, when built in a line only reduce the movement speed for the first one "climbed" onto. After that, movement speed is normal just like with fences, etc until they have to climb back down. It's why to slow NPCs you have to stagger fences, etc so they have to keep climbing up/down as they pass them.

149 tiles of haygrass (roughly half in rich soil, half in normal) will give you enough hay to feed about 12 dromedaries daily (assuming the pawns you use to harvest can get 100% yield). KZfaq crashed when I switched it to background, erasing the post I was writing, so I'm not going to include the full calculation.

Chopping up prisoners is ok but Telling Hope the one legged leader to "HOP on the Morter" Is going too far :-) 8:16 Lol
