RimWorld's Hardest Difficulty bumped up to 500%, without using pause, and only being allowed to have a single RimWorld Biotech Mechanitor pawn!
This No Pause RimWorld playthrough is played against Randy Random, on Losing is Fun difficulty bumped up to 500% (the maximum). The gameplay takes place on a Desert map. Adam is not allowed to have additional colonists!

DETAILS
This playthrough was recorded LIVE on Twitch. As such, I am speaking with chat throughout (even though this is edited). Videos without chat will be listed as 'KZfaq Exclusive'.
*No Pause - I am using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for me to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.
** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

I like that you started using chunk skip ironically and now you are finding that it's actually useful. Hope to see it as a regular part of your repertoire from now on

It just doesn't work well with large scale kiting or killboxes, which are his usual playstyle. So I wouldn't count on it, except in maybe off map events or low pawn count runs.

As freshman says, it’s no good in large scale combats, or if there’s trees to use as cover instead of just chunks. So a solo pawn in the desert is the best case for it. Still neat to see it getting some actual use though

Is Chunk skip the answer to all of life's problems? No, but it is fun when you're able to make use of it. Enjoyed the fire effect also!

Combat mechs might cause more raid points than they can theoretically make up for with firepower, but I wonder if that's factoring in Turrets and killboxes? I doubt a dozen lancers in a slow-feed killbox can't make up their raid points.

How about building another base and housing the stellarch alone in the other base, with ADAM going back and forth by pod frome one base to the other whenever needed to fight a raid or whatever? This way you could keep the wealth of the place where the stellarch is lower, and avoid increasing too much the raid points where ADAM is.

They patched out seperate outposts having independent wealth when Biotech came out or so

@@Veloxyll So now you can get high wealth raids on small secondary outposts? I didn't consider that a bug, it was just how it should be IMO. I'm not sure if I've had a secondary outpost in any game since biotech came out, though.
