I am just getting started building my very first own home range....... I am going to have a 100 yd range with everything else between that for different distances....I got a great deal on railroad ties so that will be my back stop for the 100 yd.... I can't wait to have it done and tried out. I have steel, paper, and self healing targets. poppers too.

Why are my comments being deleted?! All I was trying to say is don't use a heat cutting source when cutting AR500. We use a water jet to preserve the plate hardness.

I got old and a few years ago sold my hunting guns to an old friend who was still going hunting. He has since passed away so I’m not sure what happened to his collection. With the way they are moving our country down a bad road. I’ve been seriously thinking of a semi suto shotgun for home defense. Probably should have kept 1 shotgun but I didn’t.

A vA my two Cents, on your range I think you should have tracks on the back , that way you can have moving targets on a tracks moving back-and-forth, because objects usually don’t stand still, when they are shooting at you ,
