Just listened to the entire remake album, came here and am listening to the original album to compare and upon just hearing the first 2 songs alone, gotta say that I love the original WAY more than the remake. Now mind you, the remake is BAD FUCKING ASS!! There's just something so nostalgically orgasmic, about the 2010 original though

fuck I can't believe it's been 10 years already. Still remember the first time I heard this album very clearly: was just getting into tech death (and checking out deathcore) at the time. This album was among my suggestions and the album art immediately caught my eye. 10 years later, Embryonic Anomaly is still one of my absolute favourite albums. It's just chaotic as fuck; very fun to listen to when you're in the mood for blast beats and breakdowns.

probably still my favorite RoS album, Dingir comes close and Gidim probably even closer but this one will always be one of my favorite albums ever. The riffs in final abhorrent dream are the best i've ever heard. Can't wait for how the new version is going to sound especially with a different approach for the vocals.

Producer showed me a few clips and the guitar tones will be very similar to the original but the drums are the biggest change and sound really good

@@underground-radio-x Each to his own. I enjoy almost every style of Metal vocals, obviously dependent on the context. I really love Black Metal style vocals but I don't really listen to Black Metal in general. What I like about Deathcore vocals is they (at least attempt) to blend different styles from different genres.
