The difference between this Tyson and the Tyson we saw when Cus D'amato was his trainer is that Cus helped him control and channel that anger and aggression, Cus era Tyson was calm, respectful, thoughtful and controlled, the complete opposite of the later Tyson.

Botha is underrated, he fought at the highest level of boxing and later on the highest level of kickboxing

I know Mike well past his best here but this probably my favourite Tyson fight lol. He wasn’t doing very well and the Commentators were ripping into him and the timing of the KO considering what they were saying is just priceless

You gotta admit Botha went in with a great game plan against tyson, he hung back to miss the power punches, threw his own jabs and tied mike up so he couldnt get any rhythm going. But at the end of the day, even with all the ring rust and loss of most of his boxing technique all it took was one punch to the jaw to flatten botha.

Mike Tyson is a legend and you can say what you whant.
