Hi Rin! I love watching your videos. Here's a little tip for when you're drawing black or darker POC characters--our palms are lighter than our regular skin color. You're getting so good at drawing POC!

Love all the art!! A tip for getting better at drawing poc hair/features could be to do studies of how poc draw poc features or use poc refrences either in your freertime or for a study with me asmr video or smt, as a poc myself it does help to look at how other poc draw our features and looking at real people!

@Proj3ct_Avo1d4nc3 It's usually the process when an artist adds more detail/cleans up the art! I guess refining could also be a good word to explain it? Hope my explanation makes sense!

For these, do you prefer a completed work or could we submit a sketch like design? Meaning, it's not really finished, but the character will have a color palette for you to work with.

Either will work! I will tailor my version to match the original! If its a pencil sketch with no colours, I will also just do a black and white sketch! If there is colour, I will add colour, etc! In the future I will also plan to do some that are more fully rendered pieces!!

I wanna know what kind of screen protector do you use and if your apple pencil's nib get worn down with it, cuz i use a paper-like screen protector and it caused my stylus's nib to get smaller, rn it has a literal hole ..

The amount of wear will depend on how much pressure your use, how frequent you draw, and the texture of the screen protector! I use the Paperlike for almost 3 years and I didn't need to change the apple pencil until a little over 2 1/2 years! I changed screen protectors because I got a new ipad and this one has significantly wore down my nib a lot more despite it only being 1 year so far. The wear will be ineviatable with a matte screen protector, but if you think you are using too much pressure, please adjust the pressure curve! I had to readjust mine when i noticed the significant amount of wear! I am planning on switching back to the paperlike though! Its smoother than the one that I have currently and it has a better anti glare as well!
