5th place at carnival Rio 2020. Salgueiro made a great circus show in Sapucaí on the second day of parades in Rio to celebrate the life of Brazil's first black clown, Benjamin de Oliveira (1870-1954), who would turn 150 years old in June. With that, he took the opportunity to talk about music, theater and even cinema in the country.
The front committee presented the great honoree, who appeared as a boy and became, in a dream, the man known as the clown, but who was still a singer, director, actor, dancer and composer.
After celebrating the different aspects of the circus history, with an allegory with an open air arena, the school greeted the clowns with "live" hair, played by components with 15,000 pompoms, in their last car. Viviane Araújo was queen of drums of Salgueiro.
