Olympiacos is when his name started reaching all over the continent, because he experienced Champions League football for the first time, played very well against Real Madrid ect. and won the league and cup double that season. That one season in Greece changed his career.

This may not be the case. Many African players try to learn basic english because of the amount of football played in the country (lower leagues). Also, he almost signed for Arsenal very early on.

One of the best players I've ever seen in a City shirt. His range of passing, his power, his technique is superb the only negative is his heading!!! He rolled back the years in the semi-final against Arsenal on Sunday assisting Kun and hitting a post with a sumptuous volley, pity he was on a losing side. Yaya does not get any where near enough credit. He is the greatest African player of all time in my opinion. A world talent up there with the very very best. If you add to that what a good guy he is then he deserves all the plaudits he get. For me there should be a lot more. God bless Yaya well under rated.

To be honest, Rooney has been playing at a higher level for a longer period of time than Suarez. Also Yaya plays in EPL, and he will obviously promote premier league players.
