9 ай бұрынThe Rio Grande 463 Stock/Freight Extra stops in Sublett to lubricate, inspect and get track clearance. (Not a photo runby). This Dak Dillon Photography Charter featured Flying Rio Grande lettering on the locomotive and cars in celebration of the locomotive's 120th birthday. #463, a K27 Mikado was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, PA in 1903.

463, was the very first engine I encountered during my visit to C&T last summer. And what made it even cooler was I got to see her when she was still masqueraded as 455. While I’m not a fan of the few changes she’s gotten this year like the change in her tender decals I can understand why many people like this little engine on C&T.

It feels so good for 463 to have it Flying Rio Grande lettering back, because everyone loved 463 in it's Flying Rio Grande lettering back in the 1990's to 2000-2002.
