I always love seeing these older videos of the Durango & Silverton. Since 486 is my favorite locomotive there (and in the world), it’s super awesome to see footage of her first run on the D&SNG! This footage is truly terrific, great work!

Is it alright if I use your narrow gauge footage for a private music video I’m making? If not that’s fine

That was an awesome celebration to remember won’t be long now until engine 478 will be restored back to operation and for the first time since the 1990s will have all three K28 class steam locomotives operating together once again

You usually see one or two of the k-36s pushing this thing. But i guess k-27 #463 was the only engine available to take it on such short notice that day

Hi Katerina..., they were just moving the rotary to the other end of the line to prepair it for use. It was not going to be used. See other's videos for operation Feb. 2020 with two engines blowing snow. Thanks for watching and commenting!

It’s great having another K-37 running other than the 491 and even more amazing that 492 will be restored at the C&TS ironic how 491, 492 and 493 will all be restored to operation

I rode behind 476 last Labor Day Weekend and it was a lot of fun. She put on quite the show working hard up to Silverton. 476 is a beautiful locomotive.
