I Chased and Paced this Rio Grande lettered, “Silverton Mixed” train with rare, mid train helper until they tie up in Silverton for the night. The Durango and Silverton NGRR commemorated the K-28 locomotives 100-years of service during their Fall Photo Special. “Part 2” includes the Hermosa water stop, Hermosa departure, Shalona Lake crossing, Rockwood and Silverton arrival.
The #473's engineer was Jon Cox and Joe Dailey fired. Trading off #476"s cab duties was Kylah and Nick Breeden. Dylan Rogers, Russell Heerdt, Nick Battelo and Kyle Danielson were conductors and brakemen.

The "Arrival" captures the arrival from Kendall Mountain in Silverton.
