Is League of Legends creator Riot Games about to drop a bomb on the MMO genre? The World is there, the characters and lore are already fleshed out, and the gaming community is looking for something fresh to sink its teeth into.

Yeah Necrit does alot of good work, Riot even gave him a character in their Lore who was the advisor to the ruined king.

Legends of Runeterra have currently almost 1к artworks for cards with text explanations. Yeah, not everything canon, more "What if?", but it means we could see many possibilities and past events

Iirc all the art are canon. The what if scenarios are some of the card interactions with other cards.

@@gwakenthusiast9907 no. Some cards are also a "What if" type of scenario. Examples being, Cithria the lady of cloud, Rhaast card, and The watcher card. Forgot about the rest but those are just some examples I can give rn.

@@gwakenthusiast9907 No, for example Galio should be only one petrisite construct, but in LoR he has now whole family. Which is great, but not canon. Or Riot will rewrite his story in future

Imagine questlines or raids where you can infuse ur weapon with a demon/darkin/spirit... as a reward

Wouldn't make a lot of sense. Darkin are too powerful, they would just dominate those who wield these weapons.

@@AppleBaron You wouldn't need the darkin's spirit. Just their blood magic. Maybe the blood they used on the weapon

@@AppleBaron Then the original League of Legends wouldn't make a lot of sense either, a lot of the champions are far stronger in lore than their numbers in game would suggest. People like you should really shut up about their headcanon realism, as long as the game is fun it doesn't matter how the game fulfills the power fantasies of players.

@@cat-vv9xb no he’s right, it wouldn’t make any sense at all cuz darkin are gods trapped in weapons and have their own personality and everything. The only one who’s able to withstand its power is kayn which makes him very unique. If anything we can use blood magic but not a darkin itself that would just be too ridiculous, like imagine if everyone had a darkin they can use in game. It would invalidate the threat of darkin if we can just them

@@GeneralPet there are hemomamcers like Vladimir and his followers so having blood magic would be a lot better and make more sense than using a darkin weapon cuz darkins are so much more than blood magic they are literally god warriors so we shouldn’t be able to control them so easily.

Just a heads up if you want to explore the cinematic. Many content creators dont realise some of the lore was re written such as the first cinematic where summoners are still cannon. There are also multi verse where they do a what if, to sells skins which are not in the main universe. Also the e sport content which is to hype up the events. Which is in oct( great content ). Check out the music video which league is know for.

12:05 No, THEY aren't called Travelers. That person is nicknamed Tyari the Traveler, like Ivan the Red or Kull the Conquerer. Then when that individual person ascended the mountain, they became the individual celestial entity called The Traveler.

Fun fact: did you know necrit exist in runterra! He was added as a spirit that tells you the tale of the shadow isle. So he is canon hahahaha.

I actually think locations like the Peak should NOT be a raid. They should be part of storytelling, making the world richer. Cause in raids you don't pay attention to story or location that much. Maybe there can be a DUNGEON there for a raid, but the whole location - no. MMO's used to do that, before they realized that the MAJORITY of players don't raid - they want to explore the world and story. And even if you do raid - everyone is running ahead and shouting at you if you try to look around or enjoy the story.....Then the world feels more empty story-wise, cause you did the story locations in RAIDS, and the majority of players leave your game. So no, story locations should NOT be raids, EVER.

That's just wrong raids are there to finish a storyline that is why icc is so insane in woltk it finish a storyline 10 years in the making

@@florianwerk9025 Again they are not. That's really old school way of thinking. And it hurts the game, since most people won't ever see the "finish". In how many raids have you been able to stop look around, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the dialog? NONE. Cause everyone is running ahead, shouting at you to be faster.....Raids should be their OWN contained story.

Maybe I'm the wrong person to speak with you about it because I don't read a single dialog in games normally but the atmosphere of a raid is what important to me so like going into icc or the last raid of legion vs the titans that's just my point tho there is no solemn atmosphere without a story to build it on

@@cl1cka your wrong about raids, you only don’t look around and explore if you’ve done it multiple times already but on the 1st run your definitely going to take everything in. Your talking about super sweaty groups. But imo turning the ascension of Targon would be really cool but making it into a raid is really tricky. The celestial realm is just way too cool to not have as a playable zone for all players. But they should definitely make it into endgame though just not a raid like they can make it into a abyssal dungeon or something similar to lost ark but once you beat it then you unlock the zone idk.

@@raekwonchambers2297 Just think about what you just said and you will realize why you are wrong.... According to you EVERYONE will be doing it for the 1st time TOGETHER..... You know full well that you won;'t. There will be people on their 10th run, doing it will people on their 1st EVERY SINGLE TIME... They should do it like SWTOR - raids are outside the MAIN story-line.
