I love how no matter the situation or story, doctor doom is always a major player. Let it be a unfortunate future controlled by Mastro, alternate reality where all power is gone, or when iron man becomes a cosmic god, Doctor Doom is there and he refuses to be a background character

I would like to see a story in which a character gains comic powers and his idea for improving the world actually works with no repercussion and everyone is happy, it would last like 3 pages but at least it would be different than literally every other time "Good guy gets ultimate power, sets out to help others and it goes to his head"

Iron god vs Korvac fighting for the fate of the galaxy is so meta. Korvac is pretty much his biggest villain now

This has always haven't not only in comics but also novels and movies.. Giving a mortal overwhelming power instantly made them corrupted even with his intelligence didn't give him wisdom. Just like in the movie, with his genius intellect, he still made idiotic mistakes, it can be said intelligence ≠ wisdom.

I've really been liking this run, Tony's personality is different from what we've been getting for years, and while I'd usually be against such a drastic change in my favorite Marvel character, it's not that different from how he was back in the day, I also feel like it fits really well with the theme the run is going for, as well as him getting these insane powers. Also... BIG WHEEL APPEARANCE LET'S GOOOOOOO!!!!

You see that's the thing. This is Tony's original personality before the comics started making him more like Robert Downey jr. So if anything they're basically reverting his personality back to how it was Pre-MCU. If anything before this, his personality was drastically different.

Korvac vs Iron God reminds me of Galactic Gladiator vs Alien X. Also, Iron God is the basically Alien X of all Iron Man Armours.

Too be honest it just feels like more of the same, some one gains godly powers and learns nothing from past examples or experiences, and I bet you Tony's going to fail at what he's attempting to do and lose his powers...again and then their will be consequences for his actions (that wont last long) and every thing goes back to normal....until the next time. Rinse and Repeat until it is DONE! (a little Doom for you lol)

So messed up with Ironman’s friends. Second guessing him and plotting against him. With friends like this, who needs enemies. Interesting story and with all his calculations, Ironman could not see some issues arising from his actions? Power of a god with no insight.

All of Tony's friends were given what they have. Tony did it all himself. I feel that's a major reason there's conflicts so often.

@@unintentionallydramatic he is authoritarian because when he got unlimited power he used it to exert his will. He did it without everyone permission, he forced it on them. Also, he did make them equal to him, he still has the power cosmic, he just made them as smart as he was. I doubt he will want to give up his power too and in the coming issues will fight people to keep it.

Arguably more powerful. They buffed up the power cosmic to an UNREAL degree here. Normally Galactus is just Some Huge Dude with a powerful space ship, not a Scarlet Witch-tier reality warper.
