I know that DC started the multiverse first,the audience was confused about the timelines in the stories the writers wrote,so the writers came up with a idea to tell the audience that think of all these stories happening on different earths instead of one.

Multiverse started in the scientific theory, but then it was taken by the media and sensationalised beyond realism Schrodinger and Einstein believed there was good possibility that there were parallel universes Watch veritasiums video on it. Its pretty cool

@@tejshazam5552 Flash 123. Barry went wicked super fast and ended up on "Earth-2" and met that universe's Flash, Jay Garrick. Some stuff went down and they teamed up to stop it before Barry went home. After that, the Justice League had yearly team-ups with the JSA of Earth-2. Then came the evil Earth-3 and Earth-S for Shazam once DC bought the rights to the character. I grew up in the 70s and read comics from the time I could read and never had an issue with all the different earths. Crisis on Infinite Earths was a mistake in my opinion. Good story but bad ending.

@@mangkubi I think there was also a line hinting a potential crossover during the Doomsday Clock story. I specifically remember a line about a "Green Goliath" that I think was stated to either be as strong or stronger than Doomsday. I also remember that said Green Goliath sacrificed himself.

You may not be that thrilled to learn that, in some ancient version of Christian scriptures, 616 is the number of the devil (and not 666). Moore was quite pleased to learn since he picked the number before we found these ancient texts. The illuminate show up the line up is BlackBolt played by the guy who from the inhuman tv show , Captain Carter, Maria Rambeau as Captain Marvel, John krasinski as Mr, Fantastic and Professor X. Wanda Kills all of the Illuminate, she is on the hunt for America for her dimensional powers. Kills her self after realizing she went to far and her alternative self telling her her kids are loved. Clea shows up at the mid credits played by Charlize Theron. End credit is just bruce campbell

Wait a minute. I'm pretty sure Max and UK have their own designated Universes. (Also big fan of this channel.) Maybe I'm wrong but the best example I can give for proving this is Punisher Max. Where Frank has faced the villain Baracuda. But in Earth 616 he has yet to do so. He was going to face Baracuda in Earth 616 in the Book Punisher vs Baricuda but unfortunately to Covid-19 virus caused that book to get delayed/ possibly canceled (possibly because of all the heat that was on Marvel for policemen using Punisher's logo.) Not sure. But I could have sworn Max stories do not take place in Earth 616. Also you did a great job explaining the Omniverse been trying to explain that concept to ppl for years. From now on I'll give them this link.

DC multiverse is easier to understand. Still a dumb concept though. Earth 0- Current Universe Earth-1 - main DC universe (Justice League) Earth Prime - Same as Earth-1 but different timeline. Earth 2 - Old DC Universe (Justice Society) Earth 3 - Role Swapped Universe (Crime Syndicate) Earth 52 - New 52 comics Universe Flashpoint paradox - A Universe Flash found that had Broke the Timeline. (The most popular Multiverse story) Easy to remember. 😋

You properly mention the UK comic The Daredevils #7 (1983) but then show an image of Daredevil vol. 2 #7 (1999). The proper comic has Captain Britain on the cover.

also important to mention is The Marvel Brother who is the physicalisation of the Marvel Multiverse, in parallel to the DC Brother. Both are Megaverse beings who are themselves emobidment of their respective omniverses/multiverses.

the best way to explain the Megaverse is like, the comic multiverse, movie multiverse and mutiverse of the cartoons are separate but within the Megaverse, which in turn is within the marvel sect of the Omniverse

Such a great video for people to check out before Strange 2 comes out, and a good way for people unfamiliar with the comics to dip their toe in. The use of a multiverse is definitely a double-edged sword. It gives a lot of freedom to creators and can lead to fun narratives, but it can also be an easy way for editorial to be a little lazy. Haha.

Idk if marvel defines it differently, but “transfinite” in mathematics does not mean “beyond infinite.” Transfinite is, to put it simply, “any countable number plus more.” It’s bigger than finite, but not as big as infinity. Also, Marvel might claim that the “Omniverse” contains “all fiction,” but if they mean that to include the entirety of fiction that “exists” in our real world, it technically can’t. That would create all manner of real-world logistical inconsistencies and real-world logical impossibilities. Marvels “omniverse” only contains the “fiction” that has been show to exist within Marvel. If Marvel does a crossover with DC, we can say “that exists someone here within Marvel and DCs omniverse” but Marvel can’t definitively say their omniverse contains series it’s never even been shown to interact with like Madoka Magica, I Shall Seal The Heavens, Deltora Quest, etc etc etc. Marvel can claim what they like, but there are MANY reasons on MANY different levels as to why this cannot be the case. Fiction throughout human history simply is not a consensually agreed upon, collective, singular narrative within which all inhabits the same framework.

The concept of the One Above All gave me an idea to create a fictional deity that defies the relevant logic of Good and Evil from Abrahamic monotheism to the infinite wonders polytheism, where an all-powerful can create an endless number of gods and goddesses to help him make the omniverse.
