I love John Lithgow!! He is frustratingly underrated as an actor. “3rd Rock From the Sun” was so good. His whole career is great. “Harry and the Hendersons”!! lol Such a wonderful and diverse career. From funny to dramatic he is always amazing and a scene stealer.

Koba gives bonbobos a bad name. Kanzi is a fascinating bonbobo he can recognize over 3,000 human words, start a campfire, cook pasta, do a photoshoot (Kanzi is the Zoolander of great apes) & LEGIT beat Minecraft (he plays against a Twitch streamer that doesn't know he's an ape too).

a small recommendation when you see the next ones.. Always try to turn on the subtitles, I have had to see reactions from people who watch the entire movie without realizing that the apes are speaking in sign language and the movie does not show them the subtitles until they realized it 😆

I knew you would love this film! Btw, John Lithgow (the dad) is definitely not slept on. The man is an accomplished actor with loads of accolades. He’s received 6 Emmy Awards, 2 Golden Globe Awards, 3 SAGs, and 2 Tony Awards as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He’s been nominated for several Academy Awards (Oscars), BAFTA Awards, and Grammy Awards.

Also there are different species of apes in this movie and to help you decipher between a chimpanzee which is what Caesar is compared to some others like Bonobos, bonobos tend to have a more slender body with skinnier limbs, while chimps are stocky and more muscular. There are also gorillas and orangutans obviously those are much easier to tell apart

idk if you watched the hobbit movies or just the LotR but you should check out Benedict Cumberbatch going MoCap to get into character playing the dragon Smaug. he didn't just voice the dragon, he acted out how the dragon should me and act which blew my mind seeing the behind the scenes.

hi, thankyou for reacting and watching the reboot planet of the apes trilogy. I adore this Trilogy Rise, Dawn War and now the new one Kingdom are masterpieces to me and sadly criminally unappreciated and underrated by many others. I hope you’ll continue this trilogy with Dawn and War and the rest of Caesars story because if you love this one the next two get better and better. Andy Serkis who does the cotton capture for Caesar is fantastic. All the actors who play the apes are. I saw Rise, Dawn, War and Kingdom at the cinema here in Scotland, UK and fell in love with them and Caesar. i watch this trilogy every two to three weeks it’s gotten that bad. I’m looking forward to Kingdom coming out on dvd and streaming then i can do the same with that one too. The new one Kingdom takes place 300 years after War which is the third instalment in this trilogy and Caesars story. Thanks again for watching Rise, I’ll check back in with you when you watch Dawn. some beautiful details probably missed at first watch that the ( lost in space?! ) on the paper is actually based on the original first version of planet of the apes, when on bridge trying to escape the apes made the females and babies go on a safe route underneath the bridge so that the humans can't see them or hurt them while the males are fighting and making sure to escape here's simple things to get started with: 1. Of course we know Caesar, Magnificent healthy ape 2. we have ( Rocket ) who was the leader before Caesar came, he is the one who ripped Caesar's shirt and showed his domain and alpha presence to Caesar also followed Caesar's order to give cookies to all apes in the cages ,he is Caesar's right hand now, he is the ape with muscles, cute white spots and lines on his body and have a lot of missing hair also one of his ears is missing a piece, the left one i think 3. we have ( Maurice ) the beautiful orangutan also the wisest and gentlest amongst them that is even before the drug, he is also Caesar's right hand 4. then we have ( Koba ) the ape in the lab that was asking for cookies, he is the one with a scar on his face, a blind eye also a lot of scars on his body and a hunchback, he also became Caesar's right hand now

This is another one that i watched because I saw you were. I've avoided this because I love chimps gorillas and other primates because of my exposure to so many documentaries by Jane Goodall and ones on Dian Fossey when I was a kid. I just didn't think I could enjoy it Some points are hard to watch like you experienced and there are a few glaring lab protocol plot holes with the pregnancy blood test and the virus. However I thought this was entertaining and its getting me to have a movie marathon with my spouse on the series because I gotta see this play out now. I appreciate you for getting into this
