it can feel very overwhelming to do this for sure. Disney is definitely a place where you have automatic common ground with the other guest there. You already 100% know they must enjoy something about Disneyland....... So ask people you met about that. " Hey are you excited to be at the park today? What are you most looking forward to experiencing?" One of the BIG secrets about talking to random strangers, is try NOT to talk about yourself so much, but ask THEM questions about themselves. Get the people you meet to talk about themselves. Everyones favorite subject is themselves, and we all wish more people would be interested to hear about what we think and feel, and what matters the most to us. So basically, try to ask questions to find out "What is important to this person, what makes them excited about being alive? " Figure out peoples passions and get them to talk about those things. You'll find doing this will make people really connect with you and want to keep talking with you. People get the most bored in conversations when they feel they have nothing to offer to the conversation. So talk and bring up your own interests and feelings about how they connect to the other persons feelings, but always make sure to bring the conversation back around to them getting to express their own feelings. Very important. The other person will leave that conversation feeling very appreciated and listened to, and will think YOU are awesome because you actually took the time to take interest in them. THIS is the secret to good connections in conversation. If you can talk about star wars.... even better! :)

Very key to know these things to connect with people easier. Quoting star wars is a way Ash and I talk to each other though too lol. Everything has its place.

When I rode opening day at Hollywood Studios I had on my Sith robes and one of the First Order officers in the hangar room actually motioned politely for me to head down the hallway to the detention cell instead of harshly directing me like he did all the others. Another actually called out "Your ancient religion is no match for the might of the First Order" while we were waiting to walk into the cell. It was so awesome how much everyone gets into character in Galaxy's Edge and especially on Rise of Resistance.

Finally got to go on that ride, its not a ride its an experience, I WAS IN TEARS FOR ALL OF IT!!! So over come with emotion. Love how you FINALLY did a Dark Side bound. Remember Dark Side has cookies.

As a physician I have learned I can get emotional after being deprived of sleep being on call. So seeing you two being emotional and with loss of words sort of hits a chord with me. Yay!! Thank you guys for doing a first order look!!! It's cool to see that the troopers and Kylo Ren have interactions they can do with people showing more of their dark side. I've actually spotted that black poncho on amazon a few times and I considered grabbing it for the look, so I'm very happy to see Ashley rocking it. I'm very tempted to do something Sithy but I'm most likely gonna go as Leia since my parents really want me to, gonna reference your style guide for some nice belts 8))) Again, thank you guys so much for going out there and being an inspiration for everyone else who wants to dress up and have fun at Galaxy's edge!

We got 32 and we went on 2/2/2020 Super Bowl Sunday thinking most people would be home for the game, WE WERE WRONG. 3 weeks after opening, the line was EXACTLY LIKE THIS, all the way to DCA 1 hour before opening. It was an amazing scene watching screams and euphoria of everyone around u shouting out their boarding numbers. I’ll never forget it

I'm planning a trip to Galaxy's Edge this year with friends and I just keep getting more and more excited - but hopefully getting onto Rise of the Resistance has calmed down a little by the time I'm there! Congratulations on completing your mission on Rise of the Resistance. We rode on it on Sunday for the first time we can't wait to share our thoughts on the attraction. Also, we want to thank you for inspiring us to play Star Wars at Galaxy's Edge and creating our own character. On that same day, after we got our boarding pass, we got recruited by Vi Moradi to go on a mission with her to gather intel from the First Order. It lasted at least a half an hour and we enjoyed every minute. It's safe to say that it was the best trip to Batuu we've ever had. Thank you again and may the force be with you. 😃👍✨

I feel the moment you are in the line wait IS the ride it’s creates a feeling and loading bay is honestly amazing. When we were waiting after the hanger a kid was honestly scared and kept asking if he did something wrong and if everyone would be okay. Anyways just amazing... If I was a Disney cast member would be the best ride to work because you can actually be mean , scary and not need to smile to guests lol 😂

You kids are to much fun!!! I'm in my golden years of life and I still have never yet grown up. My wife of 46 years tells people that I'll never have me second childhood, BECAUSE I never grew out of my first childhood... LOL... I thank GOD that I don't feel or act as old as I am. People that grow up become boring crabby humans that forgot how to have fun. I had fun raising our kids I taught my kids how to have fun getting into a wee bit of trouble and not get caught doing it. Now I teach my grand and great grandkids how to do it... I get yelled at more that the kids do... LOL... LIFE IS TO SHORT TO GROW UP AND BECOME A BORING ADULT!!! Even Jesus said that we must come unto HIM as a child, To be fit for the kingdom of heaven... Keep having fun kids and have fun handling the responsibilities that come with getting older. But you can choose not to grow up just because your getting older... LOL... Be blessed kiddos in Jesus name... BBE..

Being in line with people waiting for Star Wars is something I miss. I remember before being able to order movie tickets online, when you had to stand in line early in the morning in hopes to get tickets for premieres. I met a lot of people and made some friends in those lines. And Star Wars fans remind me a lot of Metal fans. Like with Star Wars events, I can go to a Metal concert and meet new people/make new friends waiting in line or for the next band to set up. Everyone in both communities is so cool and friendly.

@@AlwaysBelieve Well, we didn't ride it before this trip, so I'm not sure if there was anything different. HOWEVER, the First Order is apparently VERY CAUTIOUS about cleanliness as there were hand sanitizing stations ALL OVER their ship!!!! We were so lucky to have gotten into the studios 4 days and we snagged a boarding group each time! The 2nd time the ride broke just prior to interrogation - we were stuck in the hallway for close to AN HOUR! First Order didn't stop for a second - they stayed in absolute character the entire time - it was AMAZING!!! SO exciting & my kid self from 1977 completely lost it!!!!

I couldn't help myself and I've been watching lots of people's reactions to the ride, but this was the one I've been looking forward to seeing the most! First of all both of your outfits were fantastic as always, so kudos on that. I need a tutorial on getting that Aurebesh so clean. I'm glad you were able to make it on the ride, and from what I've seen, there are at least 2 versions of the ride path. I'm most likely taking a trip to Batuu next month so I hope I run into you guys while I'm there!

For making the Aurebesh a clean write: Maybe tape over the arm and leave the parts you want with Aurebesh untaped, and just spray-paint or Sharpie on to it and peel away the paint when done?

Always Believe Your outfits are always fabulous and on point, I’ve tried to take some inspiration from them on a day to day basis as well. Today I wore an orange sweater and white vest and bam, I feel like a rebel pilot! I’m considering buying my first pair of pozu boots as well thanks to you guys. I’m a big fan of outfits that don’t just scream in your face “STAR WARS” or “HARRY POTTER” but I love having a nerdy side to my day to day wardrobe, so this type of Batuu accessories and outfits are great. I have a full Pinterest board of my own inspiration for whenever I visit Galaxy’s Edge or for when I’m just living my normal life with a hint of Star Wars flair, and you guys have really helped me to develop that part of my style!

One thing I do not understand is why there is no "laser tag " experience at Galaxy's Edge. I mean, STAR WARS, the franchise that actually inspired that tech, has nothing like it on it's parks. I understand the "no guns" discourse, but in the park that is mostly "buy merchandise" it could be something else to do with kids or friends. And it could be like First Order training course for new recruits, or a droid shooting range for target practice (Jyn Erso would approve). Ever since the first scene in Star Wars where stromtroopers break in the Tantive IV and start shooting rebels it has been every SW fan dream to have a blaster and join the fight, and Galaxy's Edge should be the place to do it.

you can do something even better, the VOID in downtown Disney has a VR experience doing just this,

I like you nerds so much! My lady and I got to ride Rise in Orlando a few weeks ago and we had a blast our first time on Batuu! I was really looking forward to seeing your reaction to it and I'm stoked you had fun. The early morning is definitely part of a great bonding experience for a couple.

You guys are very inspiring. I might make my own Star Wars costume. You guys gave me a lot of ideas on what I want to make. I might be going to Galaxy's Edge myself at the end of the year with a couple of friends. You guys are always having crazy interactions with all the characters every time I see you guys on. It looks so so so so fun!!!! The Kylo interaction was pretty cool. Especially when he said that the Stormtroopers were toy soldiers. I'll meet him.......Some Day in the near future ( I hope) Have fun, play Star Wars, and May the Force be With Everyone!

Awesome stuff as usual guys, Ashley's experience with Kylo and getting the poor first order troopers in trouble was pretty great and even a fun Adam the Woo cameo (Justin wasn't with them it looks like which is a bummer because I think you guys and him would gel really well together personality wise) keep being awesome :)

I think you need the hidden rebel symbol ring to complete the “spy look” in order to show your true allegiance.
