Yeah he Matthew Perry wiped the floor with me too. Took a good many tries. And as for the Blue Demon he killed me in seconds. I thought you had to die to him anyhow.

For anyone having trouble. Play the game till you can go back in time, it’ll be easier to fight him later on, plus you still get the achievement for beating him plus you get another achievement for going back in time. 😅

I'm just here because I wanted to know if the outcome was different, because I wasn't expecting this guy to come out of nowhere and clap my cheeks the way he did. I'm playing on twilight difficulty and it took me a lot of tries with Matthew Perry. Then Blue Demon shows up and made Perry seem like a joke in terms of difficulty. I was ready to start a new game and redo this. Thanks for the vid. 👌

Spectacular, I thought this guy was one of those initial boss fights (FromSoft type), in which you're supposed to die, so this way it can happen this or that event, I didn't imagine that actually he could be beaten. Obviously I'm playing it on the hardest difficulty, why not, since I've played Nioh 2 non-stop (alternating with other games, of course) from it came out until today, ¿4 years? One of my favorite games of all time and I think I have a good mastery of the combat there, which is extremely difficult and complex, ¿but here? The guy came out of nowhere, took me by surprise and although I managed to place some hits and make him a couple of parrys, at the end I fell, so I thought surely it's impossible to defeat him at the moment, I guess you must lose to him and I see now that actually you can win, I tempted to make a 2nd character, with the intention of trying again, just for the win and challenge. Greetings Tabata! Yeah.. ever since Souls series became popular. Most of these tutorial challenge bosses are actually beatable. Although sometimes they're so difficult to the point that I start questioning if it's even possible to beat 😂

For now how do you feel the game compares to nioh and wo long in difficulty and mechanics ? I like team ninja usually but this time a lot of people are saying they dumbed down the gameplay .

The game feels more or less the same in my opinion. It's like Nioh but with the combat speed of Wo Long if that makes any sense. The unit switch mechanic feels like it's the way to go when it comes to bosses with long attack combo. Everything so far feel fine to me.

You can if you saved right before the fight by the checkpoint.

I beat him with just 5 heals. Just keep switching back and forth with your twin you honestly don’t need to parry if you time the switch right

When you say "parry" do you mean the spark deflection thing (press Triangle button) or do you mean using the sword/s to parry?...tapping the block button (L1) if that is a thing or holding it to guard.

He means the spark deflection which is called counter spark

Thank you so much@@MagiTheMagician . I have yet to get a good grip on counter sparking so I usually dodge. Gotta practice it more. Only thing is there's the unblockable ones which are hard to distinguish from the ones you can counter spark which makes it very chancy. Is there a way to distinguish which attacks are unblockable?

The unblockable attacks are the Red Attacks. You can counter any oncoming attacks, but the only ones that'll stun them briefly are the last hit of their combo or the red attacks.

You can get his Medicine Box and show it off to your friends :o)

Yeah.. most of the time these one~two shot bosses can be defeated, it just takes a lot of patience x.x

Not sure how many fights there is with him, so far I've fought him 3 times haha. It's pretty much the same more or less.

I love the concept of the game and got it day 1 but this combat system is just awful. Nioh's was miles ahead.

It's better than Nioh in my opinion ! But still there hasn't been a game that has nailed combat the way sekiro has done ! Very simple but truly a masterpiece.

It has the same combat system as nioh games why? Its madd by the same god damn people so, they deliver each game! This is pretty much nioh 3 that we never got!
