Honestly devs need to realise we want more open world co op games why is it to much to ask to play a open world with a pal or two lol

Most devs are not gamers themselves so they don't know what players want and if you ask players, majority will be against coop because they don't have even single friend and feel jealous when someone can enjoy game in coop

Budget and incompetence unfortunately, noticed how Double A game companies and indie developers are doing more innovative features? It's because the larger companies get their ideas recycled and thrown away by HR due to it "being a risk" (they don't play games), they want to do exactly what their competitor does without innovating so nothing new comes out of their games. Also leads to straight up lying a lot to customers pretending like it's way harder than it is.

I really don’t even play it cause I was primarily looking forward to coop. The game itself is nothing new/fresh. Wo Long basically did this but better

Imho, these games should offer full Coop or keep it single player only. This half baked option, where you can join only specific missions doesn't make any sense. It may work for Monster Hunter games or Wild Hearts, but damn am I missing games where you can enjoy a full game/story together with at least one friend.

Yeah coop was definitely a deciding factor for me. That’s what made nioh 2 so much fun for my friends and I. I wish they would make more games 100% coop like the old days 😢

He forgot to mention that in order to play co op with someone, u have to beat a main mission by urself first then and ONLY then u can play with friends that didnt beat the main mission, yeah it sucks lol

UPDATE ! I know im late but i finally figured it out, BOTH players can play a mission for the first time if both players go to the main mission lobby of that certain mission instead of the longhouse lobby and ur good! Its very weird how they did this but its like elden ring co op, both players have to be on the same spot for it to work, hope it helps !

Thanks for the quick informational video! It's a shame they didn't develop this game with co-op as a main focal point because I feel like they would've sold a few more copies if multiplayer played a larger role.

They should’ve just scrapped the co-op feature altogether. You can’t do open-world co-op 🚩 You have to beat the mission first to even do co-op 🚩 Not every mission can be done co-op 🚩

After nailing co-op in Nioh and Wo Long, they just went backwards in this game. This doesn't make any sense. You should always try to make your next game better in every way. Well... At least the same quality, but never less

Why do Japanese developers do their games like this? FromSoft does this too and we were o hoping Elden Ring would have had open world co-op but they didn't. I mean cool I guess but it would've been better had it been more seamless and open to play throughout the world
