“Medicine Man” is a tribute to all the hard working musicians/artists/healers that hit the pavement night after night to bring those healing vibes the people need. It’s a beautiful life but behind the scenes it can be gritty AF. Sleeping on couches or floors if you’re lucky to even get sleep at all. Struggling to find enough healthy sustenance, the long road, flying, lugging gear, late nights, long days, you get it. It’s a Love affair we have with music and with sharing it with you live in it’s greatest form that keeps us going. When it came time to call on an elder, I hailed up Clinton Fearon, a truly persevering force in reggae music for over 50 years now. His unmistakable voice intertwined throughout the song was the magical final touch on this, the second single off of the upcoming Rising Tide & Mike Love “Together” EP. As Clinton would simply say, “Enjoy!”
