To see this cutscene and get the curse for yourself, you'll need to be reputation 75 in the Reaper's Bones and reach Allegiance level 100 with the Servants of the Flame! I love this ritual. The Blessing of Athena’s Fortune is more of a gathering of people who see you as friends and will have your back. However, the Ritual of the Flame is just you removing your flesh and sacrificing yourself to a cause you believe benefits you, sacrificing yourself to your king. And I love that.

@Rst If you win a battle against an Athena ship, it’s about an average of 2 levels of allegiance. There is a more peaceful approach which is getting loot while devoted to the flame however that does mean there is the risk of Athena ships Hunting you. Remember you also get a small amount of allegiance if you lose a battle (usually around a quarter to half a level). I’d say Allegiance 100 could be done in a few weeks of casual playing.

It depends on your Streak really but 120-180.

It's all about those Streaks! The higher the Streak, the more Allegiance you'll earn for each win. We really noticed huge gains with the higher Streaks.

No, the Skeleton Curse has its own cosmetics. You can't use your current set including costumes.

@Roy the Reaper costume actually leaves part of the torso and arms exposed given that they seem hastily covered in wrappings
