Of course, we all remember the Undertaker having his legendary Wrestlemania streak snapped by Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30. That was a moment that will live forever in wrestling history. A genuine unexpected shock had everyone's jaw-dropping to the floor. But these two rivalries span back further than that. In 2002 these two met for the first time in 2015 these two met for the last time, so let's go back and rewind to 2002 and look back at the amazing rivalry between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar.

I was on the edge of my seat when the brawl between Lesnar and Taker happened. One of, if not the most memorable brawl of all time. The build up all throughout their feud was absolutely brilliant.

This feud was really great, their HIAC match in 2002 was really fantastic. Their match at WrestleMania 30 was really disapointing but the streak being terminated was one of the most iconic moment in wrestling history. Their feud in 2015 was really good too, whenever it's SummerSlam 2015 (disapointing ending though) or HIAC 2015, these two matches were great. Like you said SuperkickStudios, Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker was an underappreciated feud. 🔥🔥🔥

These two were awesome together! Two absolute monsters in the same ring, and I loved it! Their Hell in a Cell match at No Mercy 2002 was very brutal and incredible, back when Hell in a a Cell was special. Good times, bro. Excellent video, homie, and I can’t wait for more of this series.

This rivalry was fantastic and how they told a good story in 2015 was impressive 2015 was also a great year for wwe we had this feud seth's heel world champion reign cena's US open challenges etc. people blame pg but forgot great things happened during this era it was all right till early 2017.

You right up until the part u say Brock hook the leg for the 3 count. I remember undertaker kick out of Brock third F5 but he kick out 1 second to late coz after that happen, everyone was confused 🤔 for for minutes if Brock break the streak or did taker kick out. It was silent for a few minutes until they look at it and saw taker kick out 1 second to late and made the announcement Brock won. I remember as if it happen today. It was never no third F5 for the, 1, 2, 3, ooooohhhh Brock did it like that edit it. Roman reigns is the true guy that break it.

I'm talking about their WrestleMania match in 2014 and yes undertaker did kick out of the third 🥉 F5 but 1 second to late coz for 3 minutes did taker kick out in time or did Brock broke. Everyone was confused than it was announced Brock won coz taker kick out 1 second to late. I remember that as it was today coz I was there live. I don't know why WWE edit the video 📸 making it look like he did not kick out at all but thousands of us know what really happened but hey a win is a win at the end of the day.

As an Undertaker die hard, the main thing that bothers me about this rivalry is that Taker never got that big time decisive victory over Brock, anytime Taker came out on top it was at the result of either screwy finish or a no contest. Its almost like Brock is THE GUY that Undertaker just couldn't beat, which i'm sure behind the scenes Taker is fine with but as an on screen character its kinda weird. If anything I wish the Summer Slam main event went more straight forwardly, I mean Taker was avenging the streak after all, the victory should've been clean.

I actually predicted that Brock was gonna beat the streak. I haven't kept up with wrestling in over 10 years at that point and only knew about Brock's UFC run. Miracles happen in wrestling but realistically Taker wasn't doing shit with Brock at that point.

I don't know if I'd call them forever rivals. They had good, even great matches but it's not like it was Kane vs Undertaker or Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle. It started as American Badaas Undertaker vs The Beast Brock Lesnar in his future year, then they split. When Brock Lesnar came back in 2012 it took 2 years before he would face Undertaker again and then the following year is when they ended their second feud. If they were destined to fight each other, they would have at least thrown hands at Royal Rumble 2017 and would have been in match at either Crown Jewels or Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.

Brock Lesnar was the right guy to end the streak, in my opinion. However, it wasn't the right time, considering Lesnar had lost high profile matches prior to the beginning of his feud with Taker. Had it happened a year later, I definitely wouldn't have been surprised. But then again, the feeling of shock that I experienced when the streak ended made it all worth it. Such an iconic moment that will be forged in the record books for its legendary outcome.

I'm kinda upset you didn't highlight exactly how much Brock returned the favors before that survivor series buried alive match with Vince. Taker beat Brock and Big Show in a triple threat, then went over Lesnar and Show in a 2/3 falls handicap match to get the match with Vince.
