It IS a little slice of heaven. The spring weather has been so nice where I am for the last couple of days. It was a beautiful winter, too, and I was in no rush to let go of it, but the warmer air and sunshine are lovely...just not so much the mud!

I know y'all work, but when y'all are home, it's vacation - every day. So few people are blessed with beautiful scenery & sounds like these all around them - no neighbors & sidewalks!! #BLESSED 💓💓 & deserved!! Y'all are so cute!!

Really beautiful and peaceful. In Spanish, we call a small waterfall "cascada" (cascade).

I built my retirement home just 50 feet from a brook like this, and it will be a joy all year round for you. Through spring and summer you'll find water-loving plants that will grow on the banks, some with flowers and some with interesting foliage. There are several varieties of moss that you'll see on the rocks and in wet nooks. When I was a kid I would float pea-pod boats down my brook, portaging past little waterfalls and into rocky pools. On a hot summer day it was ten degrees cooler in the river canyons. The brook can be a magical place, and perhaps some day your kids will float their pea-pod boats down your brook.

I love your kitchen Idea, but I would go with Shiplap on the the walls in the kitchen. Also, it there a way you could close off the bathroom door off the kitchen and move it? That way you could move the fridge to the wall where the bathroom door is. Lighting, above the sink, I would use a rustic style gooseneck and some similar gooseneck pendants to hang off the beams.

Water clarity just perfect. Love the moss. Are you worried about needing to bring any heavy vehicles over the bridge? Even if not functional (turns but doesn't provide power), a water wheel just for a visual would be cool.

Definitely glad I subscribed to your channel a few months ago. looking forward to more videos. Most people don't realize how much time it takes to edit and put one together. Just curious have you taken samples of the water to it checked to see how clean it is .Looks very clear was wondering if it’s safe to drink ?

When I was a kid I drank from my brook all the time, but now I realize that because there are beavers upstream (and probably in this brook, too) there's a parasite that causes giardiasis that may be in the water.
