can you show how to make the jig you used to paint your wheel set .Centerbeam looks awesome glad your back into making vids

Glad you like the centerbeam, lots of work went into it. I didn't make the jig for the wheels, I bought it on ebay www.ebay.com/itm/Laser-Kit-HO-Scale-Wheel-Painting-Mask-and-Holder-for-33-Wheels-Kit-906/293073030323?hash=item443c838cb3:g:z9wAAOSwHN9cyzBl There are several types for the different brands and sizes of wheels, make sure you get the right one. enjoyed the video...never tried the magnet wire before..Ive been using a heavy black thread conneting them to the bottom an top of the car its self....your videos have helped me over the years of watching them I`ve got acouple of questions for you...I know they`re way off topic for this video tho.. I see that you are using digitrax Zepher Express on your lay out...thinking about getting one of those also … the main questions is.. How many locos can you have running at the same time with it????The resion for asking is.. I`ve been running with the super chief system for afew years now...It states the in HO can run 6 to 10 locos at the same time...but the booster command center keeps shorting out internaly….this makes the third one that crapped out..2 throttles an 1 booster power supply. Theres been a couple time times ( I only was running 6 locos at the time) had about another 10 sitting in different sidings an when it shorted out (internaly … I ran the self checks on it)..It scrambled every loco decoder of every loco on the layout... I`ve got just a small sized HO layout put up in the corner of my bedroom...its only a 6x8" a double main ..ovel thats folded in half...doubling the length of it...got the bus wire ran around the outer sides with feeders appx every 2.5 feet..all the side lines have their own feeders and the engine shop even has kill switches on each track to shut them down when not in use.anyways finely...Can one hook up a DT402 or DT500 throttle to the zephyr and use them with it...???? I would be thank full if you or anyone else could give me some ideas on this thanks for your time Scotty

Hi Scotty! My Zephyr can run up to 10 addresses at the same time. I have never run that many. I am a lone operator, the most I run at one time are 2 consisted units with 2 locos each. The new Zephyr Express can run up to 20 addresses. I had an issue where a short caused the Zephyr to "fry" and cause all the locos to run uncontrollably. Sent it into Digitrax for repair and have never had a problem. I also run a DT402, hooked up through UP5. I believe the new Zephyr would be a good investment, or, you might be able to find someone who is selling their old Zephyr at a reasonable price. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!
