Hey Terry, can you do a how to video on using the color pencils for weathering? That UP hopper looked great!!
@PennCentral994 жыл бұрын
The other side of the hopper still needs weathering, so yes, a "how to" video can be done. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!

Yes! I forgot about the ashtray! I thought that was an excellent idea.

Hi Dave, thanks for stopping by! The other side of the hopper still needs weathering. So, yeah, I could put together a video on the watercolor pencils. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!

Enjoyable video Terry! The sides of that UP hopper look VERY impressive, I agree with the other comment: YOU NEED TO DO A TUTORIAL ON THESE PENCILS! (I am guessing it was the lovely Mr. Hurt who sent those supplies?)
@PennCentral994 жыл бұрын
thanks tommo, I appreciate it! Are you trying to hint about a tutorial on watercolor pencils? hahahahaha. Yes, Steve sent the supplies, and the postage was more than the items. Terry

PennCentral99 Terry, results that impressive have certainly got my interest. I actually have a set of watercolour pencils, although not the ones from Mig I am sure the results will be similar. I have not used them much, and certainly have never achieved effects anything like yours. No rush for that tutorial, any time in the next 24 hours will do!

hey tommo, interesting that a pencil has your attention. The pencils I'm using are not Mig or AK, just something I picked up at the art store. The video is going to take a little more than 24 hours to put together, I want to give you some quality!

Hey Terry, Thanks for the update! Like the effect of the water color pencils! Have you tried sealing them with a matte coat of some kind? Like the display tracks too! Thanks for sharing!!
@PennCentral994 жыл бұрын
Hi Ralph! The watercolor pencil has been sealed with dullcoat. You have to use something to seal the layers, otherwise, any application of water will effect what you have applied. Glad you like the display/static track. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!
