I been hearing from local media that the St Johns river is very polluted. I guess the Feds are getting involved. I’m buying in JAX area this year but there’s no way I’d live on that river! Plus what about flood insurance increases that are being mandated this year ! Just saying….

All relevant concerns...I think the actual water lots with custom homes are sold out but I would have to verify.

I can tell you that most of the houses in Rivertown are far from the river....there is a subset that are close but Rivertown is way bigger and more expansive than you think. Look at a flood map of where Rivertowns individual neighborhoods are and what the flood risk is in many of them, because there is a 1 out of 10 flood rating for 75% of Rivertown FYI

@@LIVINGINJACKSONVILLEFL Will do - Thanks Greg! I’m living over in Cadence till August .. just moved down in June 2022. Wife and I wanted to dip our toes in before jumping in! And wait for the over zealous buyers to calm down in 2023, which it appears that they are. I’ll be in touch within a couple months. Thanks again
