Something i think the sims team needs to give us soon is an African world. it could be a smaller one, that's okay, but every other continent is represented in some way except for Africa. i think the sims is trying to include more and more cultures nowadays sooo,, They need to give us a beautiful African village or something.

I know it's the lighting, but when the evening sun shines on the front of the cottage it makes the white colour look more like a pale pink and I wish that the Sims team had included that colour within the palette they went for. It would have made a lovely basic wallpaper on the exterior of a thatched cottage. A pale yellow would have been nice as well! 😍❤ x

I have so enjoyed cottage living coming from spending my weekends with my Nanny She had a 200 Acre Farm - No Llama's though LOL Cows Horses Chickens Roosters Hens Turkeys Donkey's and Pigs and huge gardens shelling peas was the worse!!! and digging for potatoes!!! In Texas our watermelons get gigantic farmers selling them on the side of the road.... My grandfather would have me feed the pigs with him OMG was horrid We would mend / lathe the livestock from ticks and horseflies 3 ponds that were stocked a creek with a swing in the tree to jump into the creek! us kids would play in the barn and hide in the hay Good Times I love this gorgeous build your so talented darling

Love all of your builds! And yes, we console players can access live edit objects and debug. For other console players: put in bb.showliveeditobjects in the cheat bar. Then click the search bar above the build buy icons and just press R2. Give it a sec to load, but it will pop up. I also use the bb.showhiddenobjects cheat.

This is amazing, and I must say that that lot is the best in the new world. You can just go and swim in the river right across from the cottage. You can't do that anywhere else. I renovated Clare's converted barn to be a bit more modern and my cheeky sims go skinny dipping at night out there. Also, I used the tool mod and put a picnic table over there under the tree right by the river and my sims pack a picnic and have lunch or dinner over there and then swim. I LOVE this pack!! Thanks for all you do Aden, this cottage, and of course the fantastic characters you make. :) I look forward to the LP on this adventure for Beryl! :P

I could see Beryl becoming very competitive at the local fairs with maybe baking or canning. She and the Mayor and Mrs. Crumplebottom could get into some major tiffs and feuds. Bob would ignore them and go to the pub for a few drinks.

Hello Darling,, as often said, this build is so good. I thought of Beryl and Don leaving when he had family and his home 🏡 already set up and he was settled, ready to begin his life with his Goddess Beryl. Little did he know Beryl had a friend working with the police/constables office. She was informed that they had come to the conclusion most robberies happened after a home makeover and were closing in fast. The next day Beryl had a makeover at the Landgrabs estate instead of a makeover Beryl cleaned out the jewelry, went through all the dresser drawers and was able to pick the safe. Leaving with so much money and jewels she herself was scared of being caught. She told Don, a family member had passed in Henford on Bagley, ( hope I have that correct) and they had to leave immediately before the other side of her family made off with everything. Hence Beryls new life a fugitive living her best life, with no one knowing the whereabouts of this older, seemingly legal woman of now unbelievable wealth... she's going to give Agnes a run for her money.. literally. Haha! The spare bedroom stays locked as it's Beryls room to spy on police calls and learning just where the investigation stood, she felt safe, but for how long? Long live Queen Beryl! 👑

this is so gorgeous, especially the landscaping. could you make a witch's cottage with a magical garden? like a cow plant, mandrake root, valerian root, wolfsbane, deathflowers, the new nightly mushrooms, oversized pumpkins? a cauldron in the kitchen built into a fireplace? maybe a darker vibe than the other cottages to make it even more distinct? idk. i feel like you could make something special, i suck at building lol.

Fantastic build as always! Also... we console players can use live edit and debug, but it is such a ball ache without CC to organise the debug menu and eyedrop debug items.

Tried using the grass from debug because of your recommendation in your last build. It immediately looks so nice and it is very easy to place without looking weird. Will be using it so much. So thank you!

I'd really like to see a Victorian focused game pack with build and buy Victorian items along with clothing and hairstyles to match, because I think it would go well with Realm of Magic and Vampires. Come to think of it, I'd really like to see a decades pack or maybe a few packs that's time period focused. A pack that's inspired by the 1920s with both CAS and build and buy items would be nice, the 1940s, 1980s, and so on. This way we can build and create fun storylines within those time periods. I also think having different game packs focused on different time periods would match well with the various expansion and game packs that's already available.

I could be wrong, I definitely heard this on the internet lol, but don't packs have a maximum amount of content pieces they can release in one EP/GP/SP? So maybe they just add those beautiful pieces and hope for the best that we will find them, and put other items in the catalog to showcase that count as their numbered items. ANYWAY this build is absolutely fucking stunning. And that feature film level intro?? Iconic. Amazing job as always... but there's just something about this one!! Also, I cannot WAIT to see Florist Beryl making her arrangements with garish pink and purple and glitter vases lol! And charging way too much for them! 😂

When you said you did the Rose Cottage from The Holiday it made me think that you should do another cottage from a movie! I know you mentioned that you were watching the Twilight movies recently, and I think you should do Bella and Edward’s little cottage from Breaking Dawn 2!!

Yes thatched roofing is very expensive, my aunt had her roofing replaced before she moved, the cost even made me want to cry. Doesn't help her house was quite big and weird shaped too. serious stuff aside if you had a house the size of a shed the cost be pretty reasonable lol.

Thankfully you can get access to the debug items on playstation. You just have to leave the search bar blank and it brings up everything. Sadly you do have to scroll through everything though. But worth it for certain items. Also love this build. It's stunning as usual.

Xbox player here...all cheats work the same as computer, I can see hidden objects and live edit. I played for years on the Xbox using a keyboard and mouse as well and when I switched recently to a PC it wasn't that much of a change at all.

for the christmas thing; perhaps beryl is getting a bit fuzzled, as is don, and they both seem to think its christmas although it’s the middle of summer

If a PC player puts live edit and debug items in a room then uploads it to the gallery, console players can then download the room and move the items onto their lot :) that's why you will sometimes see rooms on the gallery full of debug items

I really want a hobbies pack and for that aspect of gameplay to be built out cause its nearly impossible to have story telling or diverse sims without hobbies. Id be okay with it being a gamepack IF they made the BB and CAS centred around hobbies and just put all their budget into animations and interractions and ways of tracking the hobbies. Generations would be fun if they add life events like puberty, mid life crisis, graduations and so on. I think its what everyone wants at this point (except occult simmers)

I want to share my barn trick with you all. I placed the llama shed inside a barn I built. It works perfectly as long as you leave 1 wall open rather than use a door or arch. I am posting the lot on Design Me Devon so you can see how it works.

There's still a lot of occults missing from Sims 4 - werewolves, fairies, and zombies. More family game play is still needed, and a lot of things need updating, such as dine out, mermaids, aliens, etc.
