Hello Aden! Love this build so much. ❤️ What's making the table unusable outside are those rounded stone walls. I've had that problem with those objects as well, even if they were from debug. Their footprints are quite huge and cover a large area making the objects within them unusable. Hopefully this comment helps! Looking forward to all the content you'll be creating as well! ☺️

Oh maybe on your week off we could do a shell challenge or cas challenge. So we can either build in a shell you created, or using a base sim create a character for the world. The we can maybe have a video touring them. Just an idea 😇

Yes on the stately homes ideas! I mis going through them dearly. He little details like window locks and doorknobs and the beautiful fireplaces (good luck with those, I struggle with them a lot in sims). Have fun on your vacation!

I think it's a great idea! Maybe that will even inspire someone to buy/renovate/live in these so they are no longer abandoned 💚 it's really sad seeing ruined houses (first of all somebody lived there and now the house is dying as they moved on, and second of all there's many people with no homes or cramped in tiny flats as they can't afford a better place so it's just such a waste) 💚🐈

Love the idea of a vlog/build series, there are some beautiful National Trust properties in the West Country. Also love love love this cottage! Ive downloaded it and plopped in on the 64x64 lot in Brindleton bay so I can build up a working farm around it.

Devon, Cornwall & Dorset. Beautiful part of the UK. Being a Dorset girl (Poole) originally I get the Devonvibes as they are very similar. Nice little zoo around your way in Dartmoor - remember bringing my son there when he was little. I'm not a fan of zoos per se but the one there they really did look like they cared for the animals. Had a friend who worked there at the prison! Love the idea of visiting some of the stately homes and then building them in game. I have done similar with some Hungarian buildings - National museum, Déri museum, national library etc. It's great seeing familiar buildings in game.

About the cottage kitchen cabinets, I always like to pair them with the parenthood cabinets as some of the swatches match quite well to fix the fact that the smaller cabinets are just a dish rack 🙌

Lovely build. I like the idea of the historic builds. You did something of the sort with your series that included the Borley Rectory (?) and a castle and an old inn. You showed the original and then built something similar. Without CC, there are many things that just cannot be reproduced. I think that would be a lot of fun. So would the Hensely on Bagley world. Love your characters. The restrictions are for those playing on their phones.

Sign me up for some casual vlogs around a couple of historical houses!☺️All I would recommend to film or photograph for professional reasons in National Trust and English Heritage sites is to get in touch with the individual property team at the properties you want to visit. Quite often the property teams are happy to help and will recommend where best to film on their sites.Also, a lot of houses and museums have reopened since the 17th May. Only the smaller properties that are stuck for social distancing are still closed.

I saw that you uploaded, saw the thumbnail, had to watch it. It's beautiful! 😍 You're truly a master of your art. Realistic cottages are so difficult to build in the Sims because they have such a basic shape and derive their charm from small irregularities and details around windows and such - which are hard to imitate in the game. You, however, somehow make it work! I think I can also help you with your table problem on the outside: If I remember correctly, the curved debug wall that you used for some reason blocks its whole footprint (a square), even though the other pieces do not. The best work around is probably enabling the grid, going to the basement level and placing the wall piece there (without placing a room), then lifting it up until it sits on the ground level. It will still have the correct outside lighting, but it may look strange in lamplight, as it's technically not on the same level as the surrounding objects. The footprint issue will not be happening then, however. Really hope that helps!
