You have to remember, there was a car rolling off that assembly line every minute so it’s normal for a few fit and finish issues to slip by quality control inspections at the assembly plant. those issues are usually caught either by the PDI or by the customer within the first 5,000 miles of ownership. So there is no excuse other than the typical combination of poor design by the engineers, cheap materials cut costs by the number crunchers, and lazy/poor assembly processes and procedures performed by the assembly line workers.

Please take an infrared thermometer and after the car idles for ten minutes start pointing the thermometer at the coolant hose running out the bottom of the radiator and then one running back into it along the top to verify if there is a temperature variance.
