It was an SAE power cord, one went to a radar detector, and a shift light that he never hooked to an RPM signal. Some people also hook up small screens with a rear view camera to display so they don’t have to run mirrors.

i also got a motorcycle, had 2 1980 yamaha xs650 because i wanted an old bike, had to sadly sell them since my dad said no, moved out, purchased a 1977 kawasaki kz650, and man, this project is what im lovin, just finished the electronics, working on the oil, getting new gaskets for everything, break lines, valves, forks and everything. sat for 10 years between 2 rotting trailers not running, no gas, no rust in the 2 gas tanks i got. its by far gonna be a fun winter project for me personally. the 2 yamaha xs650 were to easy with carb cleans, and i just wasnt attached to it as much as i am attached to this kz650.

You need a bench!! It is so easy to accidentally stand on a part or piece of fairing and the resulting damage can be very costly. Also, consider investing in a hydraulic ramp - they save all that bending down (your back will thank you when you get older) and makes working on bikes so much more enjoyable. Having said that, a great job and I always enjoy your videos.
