Her tonality and timbre are so beautiful. I've not heard the like. Each note is clear. Even her high notes sound like they're coming from the earth.
@bartoszpatek3624 жыл бұрын
This clarity makes me suspicious, is it even possible to be so flawless so effortlessly, or was it cleared and played back?

Such a beautiful cover of this song that brings its spiritual depth to the surface, which is what gospel songs are supposed to do. I am humbled and grateful hearing her.

A low chest voice like Eybha's can't carry like a high soprano's. The mike is needed. In a high pitched music, or among the chorus, with high pitched and tons if sound, trrue altos can't be heard as clearly. The venue will not support a low voice. A small, parlor might accept the sound.

"How Can I Keep From Singing" My life goes on in endless song Above earth's lamentations I hear the trumpets sounding strong That hails a new creation Through all the tumult and the strife I hear its music ringing It ever echoes in my life How can I keep from singing? And though the shadows gather 'round The endless song it giveth My strength within and joy abound The world of truth it liveth Though dark the night and long the road I hear the music ringing And with such power and grace bestowed How can I keep from singing? No storm can shake my inmost calm While to this rock I'm clinging How can I ever come to harm? How can I keep from singing? Then sings my soul with love profound A fountain ever springing Deep from the earth how sweet the sound How can I keep from singing?

@nwk388 жыл бұрын
I am not privy to whether he left for good or not. But if I was to take a guess I would say yes. CW has a new musical director and David is involved with the musical The Bloody Irish. My guess is just based on that. If anyone knows more I would like to hear.

The original lyrics are profound. My life flows on in endless song; Above earth's lamentation, I hear the sweet, tho' far-off hymn That hails a new creation; Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul- How can I keep from singing? What tho' my joys and comforts die? The Lord my Saviour liveth; What tho' the darkness gather round? Songs in the night he giveth. No storm can shake my inmost calm While to that refuge clinging; Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth, How can I keep from singing? I lift my eyes; the cloud grows thin; I see the blue above it; And day by day this pathway smooths, Since first I learned to love it, The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart, A fountain ever springing; All things are mine since I am his- How can I keep from singing?

Thank you so much for taking the time to type that in for us.😇
@Stewz662 жыл бұрын
@@johnmcgarry9519 those aren't the original lyrics, unfortunately. They are a great version of the hymn that has endured. "Pauline T" is all we know of the original author who shared the hymn in a Presbyterian newspaper on August 27, 1868,. The paper was The New York Observer, and the lyric was titled "Always Rejoicing". It's often attributed to Robert Lowry, who is responsible for it being published in its first hymnal (baptist) in 1869, though, in fact, he did not write the hymn. (minor details here...). Anyway, here are the lyrics as they appear they first appeared. ~peace 1 My life flows on in endless song, above earth’s lamentation. I catch the sweet, though far-off hymn that hails a new creation. Refrain: No storm can shake my inmost calm while to that Rock I’m clinging. Since Love is lord of heav’n and earth, how can I keep from singing? 2 Through all the tumult and the strife, I hear that music ringing. It finds an echo in my soul. How can I keep from singing? [Refrain] 3 What though my joys and comforts die? I know my Savior liveth. What though the darkness gather round? Songs in the night he giveth. [Refrain] 4 The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart, a fountain ever springing! All things are mine since I am his! How can I keep from singing? [Refrain]

Eabha McMahon, born Dec 9,1992,Dublin ,Ireland. In 2015, Éabha headlined a sold out solo show in New York City, in aid of Kylemore Abbey. She is currently developing her first solo album which she will be releasing in 2016. Éabha is a fluent Irish speaker and was brought up singing and speaking Irish at home in Dublin. Prior to joining CW she worked as a nanny and also as a hair dresser in a salon. The producers of CW saw her on You Tube and invited her to audition. They liked what they saw and hired Eabha essentially on the spot. Like the other vocalists she sings two songs solo. One was "Walk Beside Me" Written by Mutt Lange especially for her.Then she was given the Enya song How Can I Keep Me From Singing, which she said "is more my kind of style, with an Irish voice." Rest is history .
