He's overall known as one of, if not, the best leader in k-pop. However, it can be said with much certainty, that he consistently ranks lowest on the list of people's biases. You can even tell when you're at one of their concerts, he doesn't get the volume of cheers the others do. Hobi, as well. It would behoove the *entire* fandom to remind themselves there would be no BTS with RM. There would be no HYBE without him. It makes me ill how much people overlook and under appreciate him.

Well, I *know* a lot of people see our Namjoon one-dimensionally; they think, 'Leader', and stop there. I sometimes think people are intimidated by his extraordinary intelligence. And I suspect.... Namjoon communicates incredibly well most of the time, but sometimes he uses words in ways that are hard to understand, and his explanations don't...connect. More than anyone else in Bangtan, he makes me pause and go, 'Well, but what does that MEAN, Joonie?' I'm pretty bright, and a writer myself, so I'm used to changing up words and looking for deeper meanings, but he's got me beat by a marathon. So I think all of these things create a kind of distance; most ARMY respect him greatly as our leader, and some appreciate him as a poet, but I think a large number don't relate to him as well as to the others. It must be frustrating for him, to find these unique and creative ways to express himself that seem to him to fit his feelings perfectly, and then find that he's got to explain it all to folk who just don't quite get it. We talk about 'another level' all the time, but it's the most true for RM. He functions, mentally, on a level very few people can reach, and he doesn't always succeed in 'thinking down' to the more common level. I often think of it it as, he's up at Space Shuttle and Satellite level, and all the rest of us are down here in airplane and helicopter level.

How did I miss this video? Love this man to the moon and back. I have said this to multiple people at multiple times of my life. He saved me from ending my life. He taught me self love. He brought me out of depression. His music, videos, live streams, his words and not exaggeration his mere presence brings utmost joy and solace to me. I totally agree when you said he is under appreciated. But trust me when I say this. I am an army because of him. I'm so glad RM is President of Boraland; Leader of Transformation (not king of destruction anymore); and Manager of the Magic Shop. He always has my vote, his words and speeches are incredibly insightful, thoughtful, powerful and poetic. He is a book I will read again and again.

Of course RM is appreciated! He is the one who kept everyone in line along with Jin, Suga, and JHope. It took all of them to keep the mandate line straight.
