I hope they removed the throttle stop that's shipped factory installed, he never mentioned it? And the stalling is a simple fix, increase the idle screw a few rpm higher and it's fine. I have a 2003 drz400E and a 2007 RMZ450 I ride in the woods. Both idles are turned up from stock and I have no problems stalling. If it's a super tight single track I do ride the DRZ, if it's a faster paced open track the rmz gets the win

@petrolheadsa true but the drz400 would be way better for general trail ridng and is much lower geared making it better for slow tight sections. The rmx is more of race bike than anything.

Mate it's stalling because they uncorked it which made it lean, you need a JD plug in tuner if you mess with the restricted muffler. It blows my mind these guys don't know that.

would a rekluse clutch solve the bikes problems.

@yamirover110 TRUE i think if could buy another bike it would be a ktm 530. Just got back from Zambia and had an awesome time. It can just put along the trail if you want it to but if you open it up be prepared to £$%^ yourself , spoke to the ktm dealer there and he reckons it is quite reliable and has about three oil pumps for lubrication. Still like my rmx though and the gearing is also diffferent to the rmz . Fuel injection is awesome.

is the rmx just a modern version of drz400e?

Why doesn't he just recommend the Recluse clutch? Seems like the perfect fix for any bike.?

@yamirover110 nah we have a drz400,rmz450 and rmx450 and the rmx is by far the best in the tight stuff,drz is just to big and heavy.first gear is super low on the rmx i wouldnt want the gearing any lower

@bandguy360 No its basically a rmz 2010 with a headlight ,electric start , shorter stroke, bash plate, speedo and has a 2009 swingarm instead of the 2010 one. I have one but it stalls like a bitch but otherwise its good. The drz has absolutely nothing on this bike.
