it's common all over the world. at the fundamental level, humans are still animals and some of them are just a little more animalistic & primal than others; choosing to react impulsively rather than logically

I was about to say the same it's so normal for me to just ignore bad drivers and just ride around them , it's a waste of time and energy to even consider road rage especially in India

Same thing here in Indonesia, and probably all around the world. Doesn't matter whether you're driving a car or riding motorcycle, there's always that one guy who comes out of intersection without looking and just *swoop* without a single care in the world.

As a new rider in India i would unfortunately stop and rage but yeah once you get used to the conditions and become a bit experienced, raging dosent simply seem worth it, skip on it and continue to have my nice day

The difference between someone who rides because he loves it and uploads video's to share the fact, and attention seeking content creators who cannot get through the day without taking an everyday situation and exaggerating it by speeding up, rev bombing and shouting a stream of expletives just to get views. Good on you RJ, a true biker

The amount of times I've said to myself 'side of the vehicle side of the vehicle' out loud in an overly American accent is unreal, props to Dan for doing what he does, it really does make a difference in our lives on two wheels.

im so glad you didnt rev bomb/ mirror smash and or beep for 20 mins - i have been riding for many years and it pisses me off when i see the 'other' type of motorcyclists being such f-king drama queens! yes i do get that every incident could be our last etc but ..... really ..... just put your big boy pants and keep on enjoying being able to ride! top man and well excecuted thank you!

Mirror smashes are utter douchebag behaviour. Riding a motorcycle is dangerous but people do make mistakes in traffic. That’s the risk you’re willing to take when riding. There’s no need in getting mad when someone genuinely didn’t see you, mistakes happen.

Ironically mirror smashes stop them seeing other bikers lol... I wouldn't ever think of mirror smashing but the occasional rev or beep to say hello pay attention is fine.

Amen, more than half these motorcycle bloggers put themselves in that position to begin with and then get upset about the outcome. If you're going to ride aggressive then just ride aggressive and deal with the consequences...... I mean what's wrong with being a man about it? I'm 45 years old and still ride a Ducati 848, I ride a little more aggressive than I should and put myself in situations where people just didn't see me coming. Not once have I ever been pissed about it.

I've always said that when driving a car, another car at a junction may pull out on you one time in a thousand, yet on a bike, it's around 50%. That's why bikers make MUCH better car drivers

Car drivers LOOK but they dont always SEE. If you are motorcycle or cyclist the human brain seems to be conditioned to look for cars, lorries, pedestrians. Because they see none of these, brain says "safe". Bit like what my wife calls "man looking" when I am in the fridge looking for burgers - I am looking for a red and white box. "Cant see them". They are sat right in front of my face but in a blue box.

I love this - in just 51 seconds, there's so much of interest - whether it's that damned exhaust note, the G-Wagon, the wrap, the stupidity of that Merc driver (not hating on Mercs ... I have an ML63 in my driveway), your road skills, your attitude and approach to conflict resolution rather than generation, the architecture ... we just don't have that sort of stuff here in New Zealand ... oh man, wishing I was in London with my Buell XB12s to compare exhaust notes :)

I mean... you're moving quite fast and his view is blocked by the parked vehicles. He literally can't see you until he's already blocking you so there would be no reason to rage to begin with.

@@realdevbro447 i would argue not a good take: if you cant see on to the road that has priority you have no business pulling out onto the road. if you need to get a better view, creep. this driver isnt creeping. theyve chanced that the road will be clear and it in fact isnt. bad driving imo.

@@peterkeleher I would argue the car did in fact creep until he had a sight line past the parked cars, failed to spot the small fast moving object moving between the large moving bus and pedestrians opening doors of the parked vehicle at the side of the road, and then decided to speed up as he didn't spot any approaching vehicles. I never said he wasn't technically in the wrong, but you got motorcycles talking all the time about "drive as if everyone is out to kill you" and we all know people often miss spotting motorcycles for a multitude of reasons, yet still people get all pissy when it actually takes place out in real traffic. My point still stands that the situation would've been no reason to rage to begin with. We don't live in a perfect world and there are reasons other than negligence that cause accidents.

I’m sure I saw you today, would of been just before 1 o’clock this afternoon, near Trafalgar Square. It was a chap riding a nuda with a camera on the side of his helmet anyway! I don’t imagine there’s too many of them in London! Just a shame you were stopped at a light and heading the other way so I didn’t get to hear the wonderful song that nuda sings!

I think the merc driver didn't see you (blocked by A pilar, which is common, that's why as a driver we need more concentration) but hell, what a loud sounding bike the ktm is

In my country there is no respect for giving priority. Especially on the roundabout, intersection or hidden entries. That is why I am always calm and alert

I get road rage sometimes myself but I'm just more disappointed than pissed off, just people need to be more careful and pay attention. People just get too used to just driving round all the time without care.

Nice. There’s too much conflict and aggression in the world and driving in cities is difficult and stressful as it is. I look forward to the day KZfaq is awash with clips like this of motorists, bikers, cyclists and pedestrians interacting with courtesy, understanding and humanity and not screaming and honking at each other.

I've got a question to RJ and anyone wanting to answer: If a driver of a vehicle (BMW in this case) decides one morning to, for no reason and no provocation, to start honking his horn at a motorcyclist (me) and then attempt to trying murder said motorcyclist (still me) by attempting several times to run motorcyclist off the road aggressively, do you then have the right to remove not one, but both side mirrors?

As I can't be bothered uploading any more, I frequently mutter all manner of obscenities into my helmet & carry on. No point in screaming abuse, the driver can't hear you. Zero point in damaging their vehicle(despite temptation being high) If our local roads were wide enough to be able to scoot around the blind gits, you did well. I've had 12+ morons crash into me in the last 35yrs(in cars fortunately)& my body is screaming "enough" so I got my bike licence & a new bike(2018 MT-09)& try to get well away from the local area on my rides as I know from experience the locals consider me to be their own personal "crash-test dummy"
