Road Rash is a series of motorcycle racing games developed by Electronic Arts since 1991, in which you participate in violent illegal street races. Orgininally released for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, it has been ported to several platforms like Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear, Sega Saturn, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, Nintendo Game Boy and Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, 3DO, and - of course - Microsoft Windows on the PC.
In this video, you can see an early pre-release demo of the PC version, which has been done in 1996.

I remember how we were one of the first people in our society to get a computer and everyone used to come at my home to play this game.. Never realised then that I used to just play demo version again and again lol. Playing this was instant happiness.

Our school computer lab had 10 computers with only 2 of them had this game installed. Going to this lab used to be like an olyampic race just to get one of those two comps. About 4 to 5 students used to adjust on these two comps. When our teacher is busy with something else used to be the best opportunity to play it... Still remember those days of 2004...

We were lucky that it was just the dawn of technology and every thing new was appreciated and seen as a wonder! Now the case is not the same.. First played it in 1998. Got a CD in the magazine called PC Quest which had a few games of their demo versions. The others were Age of Empires III, and one or two more which i can't remember now.. what beautiful days they were now when i think of after watching the video. Its been more than 13 years i guess ever since Iast played it. A few days ago i was actually reminscing about this game , and here it popped up in my feed. I am glad I was one of the very fewest people who had a computer back then, my cousins used to come in my room and we used to play this game serially. Nostalgia hits hard

Memories from Pre-internet era, I used to play this game with my brother, one would drive and the other would handle the fighting, when we discovered that you can steal weapons from other drivers we went hysterical! aaaaah! simpler times
