The MDX is a very handsome vehicle in my opinion. Love the styling of it.

Not my cup of tea but I'll say this, its more than capable of keeping up with the X5 non-M, Q7, RX, and the like while still being reasonably priced and well equipped across the board.

Seems like the hp number is underrated, because it's quick even with the delay. It chirped the tires in second gear, don't think I've ever seen that from an awd auto.

ldawson103, that's exactly what I was thinking. I'm guessing it's near 320 HP which is good because without a turbo, it will loose a lot of power at higher altitudes.

+Whodunit, that's the manufacturer reported power, which is probably not accurate. The MDX is quite heavy and that acceleration rate would require more than 290 hp.

I am glad they dropped the weird shield thing on acura's, but I don't really like the headlights with the in line leds. Looks good otherwise.

It needs bigger rims, wider tires and the dash inside needs to flow better. Then it will be pretty good.

No changes to suspension? That means the rear suspension will still sound like a box of rocks when going over small bumps, just like my '15 MDX did. 42 days in the shop in one year to fix various QC issues, and they never did figure out the suspension noise. First and last Acura for me, it's gone and I don't miss it. No surprise to me to see Acura's position plummet in the reliability ratings.

Chris Boultinghouse No such issues to report in my 15 SH-AWD Tech. Same with the 12 Tech and 09 base which preceded it in my garage.

Guess you're lucky, or maybe I wasn't. Google "MDX rear suspension noise" and spend a few days reading all the complaints.

I test drove a 17 and couldn't believe the noise I was hearing from the suspension when I drove over bumps. It was a clunking sound. It was fine on the nice smooth highway but the suspension sounded like a old car to me. I didn't buy it.

I have a 2019 MDX Advance and I do sometimes hear that clunking but that sounds immediately goes away after a day of just enjoying my local backroads, or when I fully send it at rallycross. Aka, I think this vehicle needs to be driven properly sometimes from what I can tell

tbh I love acura and Honda but I aim more towards Toyota & Lexus.

I used to aim for lexus to but these days their designs are so horrible it's really putting me off. acura and infiniti are looking more attractive choices every time lexus releases another childish angular design.

I'm a Toyota guy but took a plunge with the 2017 Honda Pilot Touring. Very disappointed with only 11,000 miles and 7 months it's making a loose engine noise and a low grinding engine noise. Gonna dump it and go back to Toyota.

Probably from the Auto start stop feature constantly turning on and off the engine.

People don't know this but this car is fast for a SUV and I wouldn't mind having one. It's a little bit feminine looking but not too much that i wouldn't drive one.
