The amount of time I have wasted attempting to jet a leaky 2 stroke in the past is mildly embarrassing.

Oh also also, to keep that tank from rotating on you, its worth putting a screw or bolt up through the bottom bracket of the tank and into the tube you're mounting it on. I used a regular sheet metal self tapper and that held great. If you tighten the straps to keep it from rotating, eventually the welds around the mounting studs will crack and pour gas on you. Ran that same tank on my 66cc motorized bicycle.

After this video I came back and hit the bolts with some blue Loctite but if they come out again I'll definitely use red lol. I feel you on that. These are super susceptible to leaks. Great idea on the self tapper. The front bottom C bracket already buzzed off but the rear one is holding fine. Once I replace the front one I'll use that idea.

@@ItsDaJax Mine is a 1979 Garelli Gransport in almost original condition. Good for about 35-37mph on flat ground.

Only reason you're probably seeing mostly Tomos is due to however you're looking and the fact that the Tomos A series engines are up there with Minarelli engines in performance, modability, etc. Most moped engines can be modded, but those two are like Ford and GM engines of the moped world. I would need a few extra steps to get the NOI in my Garelli SSXL to perform like his Tomos, like track down a KTM clutch, because why the fuck did Garelli put a rubber clutch in them‽ I'd rather swap an A55 in it.
