Күн бұрын2020 is going to be a huge year and to start off the comp season, I'm travelling to Logandale, Nevada for the RC4WD Scale Nationals! To push my limits, I'm competing in all 3 SORRCA classes and go over the intro to all three trucks. In this episode, I count how many points the trucks will get!

It is amazing to see how far this hobby has come in the last 12 years. From Trail Truck never existing.. straight to thousands of people enjoying trailing and competitions all around the world. You have such a great RC garage! It truly is amazing to see how much skill folks have been able to demonstrate in the fab and scale world.

Dang, I was like where's the next episode, then I saw that this was just in March 2020. Too bad it's delayed til November. The reason I'm here is quarantine - I needed an indoor hobby and got back in to RC after 20 years off. Now I'm watching all your vids on the couch waiting for my speed control for my TRX4 to arrive... Your channel is an inspiration, so much creativity, craftsmanship and dopeness on display.

Love the yellow Trailfinder. Funny story , met Marlin at KOH. Great guys , freakishly intelligent on Toyota 22r/22re and Taco's. I sold my 86 SR5 4X4 to his nephew. Oh...also... he keeps Marlin Crawlers at his shop and if you buy one from him , he'll sign the body.

I do believe you miscalculated your scale points. For example: your bench seat counts as 2 seats. In the video as your counting bumpers it looked as though you only counted 3 points for both bumpers. Just an observation. Maybe I just couldn't keep up.

A bench seat counts as two seats so the C1 should be at least 61 pts.

Frame rail chassis with metal hardbody is how I interpret the ripper

Hardbody has to be a min .60" thick to receive points. You could get a body panel point for them

Can you do a video showing us how you pack your RC and your batteries when you go on a plane? I think it would be really helpful for a lot of people including myself.

All you need to do is put electrical tape over the connectors and place them in your carry on bag

I would think that if your tubes are welded to the chassis if should count as a tubed chassis

They aren’t though. Mechanically fastened. All good, did have a chat with some SORCCA experts, and I should get hard body points.

Sorry a little concerned about the situation at hand especially over in China I was thinking about getting the new RC but I think I'm gonna hold off because I'm not really sure what to think of besides what they talk about in the media and pretty much yeah on the news and all that what would you do in my situation Your drops are quite all from your collection is amazing and I too am working on building a Box and side of another Box

Factories in China are slowly reopening. Packages are safe. The Chinese post are actually spraying everything down with disinfectant and even that is overkill. The virus does not live on surfaces for long. With that all said, I am holding off a bit too on a fresh build because at best this is a very extended Chinese New Year and stuff is moving a LOT slower out of China than normal.

Yes, provided it’s not any narrower than the windshield at its widest point.

hello i could use some advice. i am trying to fit a proline 2014 silverado body to a trx4 builders kit. i havent build the kit yet but the body is too narrow to fit on my trx4 blazer chassis.its 5/8 narrower. i was considering part 8080 . how much more narrow will it make chassis? regards

The chassis won't get any narrower, why not just trim the inner fender flares?

@@scalebuildersguild it seams i have found my answer to fit the proline body. i can change out the inner fenders. with the front and rear shock towers. provided in my traxxas 8057 extension kit.i didn't open the bag and look at instructions lol .so i don't have to trim. which traxxas rep didnt' know either.
