Looks like it was a nice trip. I certainly want to add driving a rental car into the mountains somewhere in Japan to my plans, wouldnt be too keen on driving in/through any of the big cities though.

I loved the monkey part! This isnt the Kyoto monkey park right? This is such good news to me bc I thought these bathing monkeys were just way up north!🎉 how far from Kyoto is this bathing snow monkey?

Yayayay ^^ This one is in Nagano! About a 5 hour drive from Kyoto, so not very close, I'm afraid. But it's not all the way up in Hokkaido at least ~ thanks for the comment!!

How dose the new rule for Tourist affect you as a foreigner living in japan That bans the tourist from visit some areas due to that some jerks dint Respect the japanese culture

It doesn't effect me at all, it's really just for a few specific streets in Kyoto ~ People should be less douchy though for sure. Thanks for the comment ^^
