Road Trip to Nebraska to buy an MK3 Supra

Thought I'd put together a short video of our trip to Nebraska for the kid's new college/project car: a 1989 MK3 Supra. It needs some TLC (a lot actually), but it's an awesome 80s JDM icon.. always been a fan. I realized during editing I forgot to get some interior shots but it's plush and fantastically 80s. Maybe next time.

Thanks brother 🍻 yeah these cars are so perfectly 80s. Great to see another Delaware native! If your MK3 is black and if you've been to a Kirkwood Cruise in the past, I've definitely seen you. If not, well then I'm surprised there's more than one MK3 in the area lol.

Great Video, nice job shooting longer format content, especially when the trip from DE to NE is pretty much flat and brown once you get past Pittsburgh. Also Kum & Go lighters are my favorite, because I am also a child. im curious what speed you were travelling, i was averaging about 22mpg at 80-85 on my last trip.

Thanks man.. I know this one is a bit out of the usual but sometimes I like all over the place vlog-ish content. Appreciate the comment. As for the gas milage, my gauge was reading about 23 - 23.8mpg (max) on the highway and I'd say I was probably around the same speed as you. That one weird instance of diminished milage came after a gas stop at BP and the next time I got gas, it went up to about 330 miles to the tank and then close to 400 (so it kept climbing after every subsequent fill up until it was back to normal). I really have no other explanation other than bad gasoline although I don't know that that kills milage so substantially. It was totally fine after that one instance though.
