Nice Workbook find! I have the 25th(?) Anniversary reissue. One of his finest. Always makes me happy when you say you’re “trying to get into more stuff like this.”

Jazz at the pawnshop is probably the top 3rd best jazz albums i ever heard along side king Oliver and time out All better then kind of blue IMO

Hi Dillon, great videos, everytime something new. It's always worth getting your grails when you see them, you can bet your bottom dollar they won't be there when you go back. I'm sure everyone will be fascinated to know that "Live at Leeds" was one of the first albums I ever bought! Linn is a Scottish hi-fi company which produces, amongst other products, the renowned Linn Sondek LP12 turntable. They also have a record label and that gives me the excuse to promote a couple of excellent albums by a band on the label. That band is The Blue Nile and the albums are "A Walk Across the Rooftops" from 1983 and "Hats" from 1989.

Awesome! The one with the sticker is not a first pressing, but rather a late 1988- early 1989 copy hence the hype sticker that mentions Sweet Child O' Mine and Welcome to the Jungle as singles. Even in the U.S. they never ceased production on these, but sold them in fewer quantities at certain record stores that had to special order them. The promo ones are definitely first pressings though. They are all still worth a lot. Great find!!!

The ones with sweet child of mine and dead pool stickers are not the first pressing? Or they all kind of belong to the first pressing? I own 3 of the sealed ones with hyper stickers on it as I mentioned before

@@ericwang604 nice, I wish I had a sealed copy. The first pressings have oval hype stickers. They continued printing banned covers into the early 90s. There is actually a 1991 mtv clip of Kurt Loder at Tower Records holding up a copy. It was only banned from Walmart and a few other large retailers. The hype stickers that mention Sweet Child O’Mine are from the Summer or Fall of 1988, over a year after AFD was released so it is technically not a first pressing. If the sticker was gone you would not know. I could be wrong but I don’t think they changed the matrix numbers or anything. Sealed second pressings like yours are probably worth like $200 - $300 each

@@suckerzezper I also did some research on the frist pressing of AFD. Apparently they didn't make much copy of that oval stickers to begin with. So a guy used to work at record store who did all the ordering was recalling "the hyper sticker with the sweet child and dead pool was considered the 1st official pressing" to the public.

I love Funkentelichy , my favorite Parliament album. Love that group. Congrats on walking into a record store, put down $100 and get a Grail. Wow. The Plant / Alison is a favorite of mine also. That Bob Mould album was one of the last vinyl album I was able to get After that I just could t find vinyl. I just bought a few Koko Taylor, she can really belt the blues. That's pretty cool all that stuff in the Leeds album, love that stuff. Fun finds Dillion. Get some rest and file some records. Steve

Really great stuff Dillon. I recently bought The Who Live at Leeds just like that on Decca. I've never seen one on the Tracks label. Getting away and going record digging sounds like a dream. I hope you and your wife had fun and got some rest.

I know you liked the uninvited mole pressing of rare pink floyd records. Although they stopped thier is a new label called black hat records which is basically the new mole great limited edition vinyl with inserts. They have two releases the Screaming scotch man and on stage Japan definitely worth checking out.

I just scored some killer vinyl and pretty much bought the wall off a record store, but that Yesterday's Children trumps it. That Parliament Funkadelic collection is dope! I just showed an Appetite for Destruction in a recent video. It definitely wasn't a sealed banned og. Crazy, Bro.

Yesterdays cildren, ....Yummy,! Unearthlly find. If I am not misstanken, sublimMedia showed Jazz at the pawnshop, and said that it was the best sounding album in his collection. Ought to sound alright, as he has got some quallity pressnings ;) Let US know what you think of the sound on it. All the best

You need to use a dedicated mic or a clip mic closer to you. They don;t cost miuch, but needed as you do a lot of videos. Can't really hear you. Your videos & content are excellent, keep up the good work
