You nailed it! The lines “This house is not a shelter anymore!” and “I came back home so I want my home back.” get me every single time. I have heard it hundreds of times over the last year and I tear up almost every time. Like you said, a lot of emotion in those lyrics.

This song has the exact same impact on me. Whenever it comes to that part I start to tear up as well. It is also the same with "No Hoard of Value", from the moment she screams "Get back to work" and onwards I get a big lump in my throat and start tearing up. It is just so incredibly powerful.

I spoke with all of them, last week in Zurich (14/06/2023). They are precious human beings with huge hearts, that have been through a lot and that, fortunately, due to necessity, survival skills, hard work and pure raw music talent, managed to escape their hard lives in Ukraine, but always helping those in need in their homeland, and never forgeting where they came from. I asked Eugene: I imagine that playing for you guys is cathartic and the best way to deal with the unfairness and hardships that life throws at you sometimes... He replied to me: Yes, and also, it is all that we know how to do (thankfully for us fans) and HAD TO KEEP ON DOING TO SURVIVE... For me, the humblest and more talented musical LEGENDS one can meet in this lifetime... Love your reactions Bro!

@@TankTheTech Thank you Tank for your reaction. Just wanted to say that war started in 2014, and they probably were already grown up. It lasts until this day, by the way. Their hometown is still occupied. I grew up 100km to the south from their city, and left Ukraine not that long ago. Glad this band is so widely known now, and also that more people know that there is a war in Europe in 21st century

Bro. Glad to see you elaborate on this one! Great reaction. Very powerful song/vid indeed. Once the dust settles on your current Jinjer reactions, maybe I can persuade you to react to Jinjer "Under the Dome" from KOE. It's pretty much a "hidden" track, and almost no reactions to it out there, but man - you'll think someone hit you over the head with an anvil when you hear it. It's one of few tracks with NO Tati cleans in it; just growl and chants. Very deep and brutal song. There's no video either - so it might be kind of novel to react to "just the song" for one of your excellent Jinjer reactions! Hope you'll consider it! Peace!

@@Paul-ow9gj I saw The Cult open for Guns N' Roses in 1986. Same thing - The Cult absolutely *blew* GNR *away*. As it happens, I went to the concert to see The Cult & rather than GNR, & their performances confirmed to me that I had them ranked correctly. My estimation of GNR never recovered from that concert.

Love these comments three years later. Some of my favorite bands have always been underrated opening acts who consistently outshined the headliners. From Rush (imagine them opening for Kiss) to King's X (best band you never heard of) to Dokken (blew away multiple headliners) to Loudness (MURDERED the Crue on Theater of Pain tour) to Jinjer on the recent Disturbed tour (and I like Disturbed). It's kinda cool to be in on something that's underrated and underappreciated. All the more for us!

My understanding is that the band comes to Tati with finished songs. And she takes them and writes lyrics on her own. And the first time the band hears them is when she is laying down vocal tracks. Jinjer's lyrics fly under the radar a lot I think. They deserve more credit. Tatiana is a beautiful poet. They are always so meaningful.

As a former combat Marine, I've had the misfortune of seeing a lot of lives absolutely destroyed. Aside from the loss of life, many many more people just lose everything. And I don't mean their things, like the house and it's contents. I mean the sanctuary, and memories. Like it or not, memories have a shelf life. The saddest shit I've ever seen was kids walking away from their homes, looking back at them, and starting the clock on the shelf lives of those memories way too early. I'm haunted by those visions, and the knowledge that for many of them, that was the last time they ever saw their homes. This song kicks me square in the feels every time I hear it. I'm not one of those "we have to end all wars, man" types. War is very necessary. And the cost is not usually in vein no matter what the news says. But that doesn't make it easier to swallow, especially for those that pay the actual price. These people have been paying that price for a long time. I hope this all concludes, when it's done, with them getting their homes back.

This band is insane. I been following them and been a fan since about 2010-11 and the musicianship with these guys is off the roof. There is nothing too intricate or no genre to difficult for these guys and they do add a lot of different touches in their music. Since I've been following them for so long now it is funny to look back and see their evolution, you can see or hear the small changes when there been a change of band members but also how the years played their part and how music in the industry changed and they got new influences. Either way this is the most interesting band out there and I must say that Spiritbox is for sure the runner up. Good reaction as usual Tankster!

This has to be my favorite reaction so far. Not because it’s my favorite song (it’s not) but because of the way you talked about the lyrics and lyrics in general. Every little bit was spot on, sometimes a song grows to something bigger and better because of the lyrics. With that in mind, please react to Nanowar of Steel (yes, here we go again) and their song “Norwegian Reggaeton”. I have a strong feeling that you’ll be the first ‘reactor’ who’ll really understand the important (metal related) parts of the lyrics.

Ditto, man. Ditto! Lyrics What is this?! What is this mess?! What's that noise? Is this a death sentence? Terrifying silhouettes Rising over the motherland. Are those the fireworks? No. it's a military quirk. Is it a mermaid singing? No. it's a siren screaming. Is it an angel watching over us? It's an air-fighter making a fuss. Why is this party looking so bizarre? A party? No! this is W.A.R. My darling, did we wake up like this? Isolated bodies in a boudoir of helplessness. A bullet is an early bird, a midnight owl. Morning greeting of a rooster are replaced With fire in a hole. My dear, do we have to go to sleep like that? With a soothing cocktail and the hundredth cigarette. Morning greeting of a rooster are replaced With FIRE IN A HOLE!. Our beds are cold, As cold as basement floor. Our beds are cold, As cold as basement floor. This house is not our shelter anymore. Anymore. Home is not a building, Home is liberty. A place where memories live In prosperity and peace. I came back home so I want my home back I came back home so I want my home back. Don't you leave us homeless! Don't you leave us homeless! Homeless homeless. Source: LyricFind

Awesome reaction! You go so in depth with your videos and it’s super nice to see. Also you give credit to everyone which is amazing. They are all super talented and hella chill people. Met them a couple times when they have come through Cali. Hope you will do a video to judgement and punishment soon 🤘🏼 Take care

Holly C.R.A.P. i got chills at the end of the song . This is my favorite vocal from her to date. Some of the song had a meshugga fell too it which is super sick. And eugenes bass is insane in this song and as always vlad and Roman brought it as always. Super sick .

In this song, I think she covered all the panel of metal core singing (or almost all) because she goes to the grave (not at the level of Phil Bozeman but so deep too) to the high with a good clear session with the same range.

I had no idea what this song was about, I hadn’t looked up the lyrics yet, and damn that was powerful. Such a great song. I didn’t remember how low she got in this song, she continues to impress
