We wanted to show you all something different available to the bed. This customer needed a truck capable of hauling a low profile trailer. We were able to use a low mounted aux fuel tank, and we recessed the generator tank into the frame as well.

Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the setup of the side tank, the gen tank, the generator, etc……but dang. I HAVE to have a couple of toolboxes.

Along with the last comment about seeing the inside, would like to see and hear more details. How big is the side tank? How big is the Gen tank? How much weight did the upgrade add? These help us understand how much load is still available for loads. We do need exact cost, but a general cost for the upgrade would be nice.

Ronald Montgomery Ronald, thanks for your comment. Our intent with these videos is to give a quick look inside and around these vehicles. Many specs are available on our website, which is linked in the description. As far as general cost, our base package starts at $9900. We actually have a truck coming in later this month that we will film that is a base model. We haven’t done one of those for a while now. That video will be posted shortly after work is completed.

That sleeper cab looks nice as well as the way you set up the rear of that chassis. I just don't like the rest of the truck. I prefer a cab that is mounted high enough on the chassis to have a flat floor allowing for easier access from the driver seat to the sleeper cab. Like the 3rd generation GMC TopKick & Chevrolet Kodiak that have van based cabs. Or the limited run of the Ford E550. Too bad the big three don't offer anything like those now... I currently have a Ford E450 with a 72" aluminum double bunk sleeper cab. Towing capacity isn't that great though but good enough for a toy hauler. 14,050-Lb GVWR / 20,000-Lb GCWR / 10,000-Lb towing capacity.

What is the wheelbase of this pickup?

I would need guidance on that. Recommended wheelbase (usually you get 3 choices) based on cab configuration (crew-cab vs regular cab) and what you want to put on the back behind the ‘sleeper’ (toolboxes, generator, etc.).
