That would depend on what trailer your pulling not so much the truck itself . As long as the rating of the trailer your pulling plus truck rating is 26000 or less then you don't need a cdl . Example let's say truck is rated for 14k and you put a 12k trailer behind it then that's 26k no cdl required however let's say truck is rated for 15k and you put the same 12k rated trailer behind it then that's 27k which requires a class A cdl

Ok this may come across as strange request but, I wish I could get a version of this where the access to the cab was closed off, yet access at the rear for access to my truck camper. That way my boy could have a more permanent bed area, much like my cab over in our 2021 Bigfoot 10.4 truck camper. We just took ownership of our f550 single cab 4x4 cab chase. I'm not a fan of RVs, went down that road, doesn't work for me. So, building my own rig. Planning on a flatbed, also upgrading suspension. We were just talking about how nice it would be to do what you offer but, as how I explained we like to have our are built. Would that even be possible? PS, love the auxiliary fuel tank, love it. That rig is amazing.

Beautiful looking truck! I'm building an older F450 and searching for a cheap semi sleeper. Ideal length would be 48" as the truck is 84" CA. The 450 is just a temporary stepping stone to a semi which I hope to be in by the end of the year, so no sleek looking sleeper for me.

Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the setup of the side tank, the gen tank, the generator, etc……but dang. I HAVE to have a couple of toolboxes.

What mods are done to the front seats to make the sleeper FMCSA compliant? Specifically the requirement for at least 36"W X 18"H opening between the sleeper and the driver's compartment. Does this require the front passenger seat to be removed, movable etc?
