@@Bisexualdragon4042 There's a middle ground between saying a show with a terrible ending doesn't deserve a perfect score and saying a great show with a terrible ending deserves better than a 4. But who knows if it was really just the ending that caused the score to be so low? Maybe it was just fine to them to begin with. I could easily see a bad ending dropping a show from a 6 to a 4.

Putting the MAL lists aside, that was a very BASED vtuber lineup of you, Joey! You kinda have all my favourites in there, or like at least I have watched a substancial amount of nearly all of them. I am especially happy you got my Oshi's MAL! Haha yeah, Mysta is an enigma... But his list really suits him, tbh. It kinda makes sense. I am more surprised with Lily's list. We need more people to understand that Acchi Kocchi is very VERY close to the pinnacle of cute slice of life anime. Every character is crazily adorable in that show and they all bounce off each other amazingly.

Von from the Terror in Resonance soundtrack is gorgeous. I forget which video but I learned about the series because another youtube video mentioned the song and I decided to listen to it and I was hooked and found a way to watch the show. The piano part always makes my brain visualize a cave of ice with water dripping down from ice stalactites and hitting the keys of a piano.

Really weird not many people watched it, the premise is unique, even for now. I watched it in the beginning for the vibe between Oreki & Chitanda, where they are definitely gonna be a couple but throughout the show they have unique relationship that is not loving or crushing each other, but more like mutual respect. Also maybe just me, but I do love mystery anime/manga cause my 1st manga was Detective Conan and Kindaichi.

I watched hyouka and chitanda is one of the cutest anime girls of all time, oreki is a handsome lad. The animation is great (I love Kyoto animation). But the show was boring. Songs were good too btw.

Log Horizon is definitely one of the best in the genre! Pretty underrated too i think. I always rewatch it just to feel that kind of hype again and it never gets old. Imo the best anime for MMORPG enthusiasts. The best anime in the isekai/game genre to ever simulate that feeling of raiding with your guildmates, pretty good stuff

I mostly give out 7's on MAL. I rate things like this: 10 - one of my absolute favorite anime ever 9 - incredible and everyone shoulds ee it 8 - it's really good 7 - on the good side of average 6 -on the bad side of average and I'll only watch it if there is nothing else 5 -I probably didn't even finish it because it was so bad And then I don't even watch things worse than a 5 long enough to rate them

Putting aside the little 2434 Ollie slip up, I gotta say, both Ollie and Giri's lists are pretty solid. Also, I wish more people would checkout Acchi Kocchi. That show is just good for the heart.

One thing I don't like how people rate things nowaday is they rate it based on the re-watch value of it rather than how it feel to watch/read it for the first time. Like for example a mystery novel/movie/anime wouldn't feel the same after you watch it 1 or 2 time since you already know what happened.

I think Spice & Wolf & Maoyuu Maou Yuusha were the two series that most stick in my mind as series that taught you economics in an interesting way .. i think the only other series i can think of on a similar level of being educational & entertaining and that would be Nodame Cantabile which was classical music orientated.
