One time I heard Marrs talking about doing the bad option. He said that at high level it's actually pretty good to show the bad option so your opponent starts covering it. So that simultaneously gives you more room to do the right thing and to punish your first mix up.

Your explanation of discovering in the Diddy vs Mario matchup that the typical banana vortex playstyle wasn't working and required switching up the amount of offensive vs defensive banana play based off low or high percent fights was really insightful! Also the analysis into Leo's aerial attack habits in the last video and Tweek's habit of jumping to grab banana in this one really shows how one habit can be massively exploited in higher level gameplay. Looking forward to see more videos like this in the future!

That anecdote at 18:00 + just goes to show it's the player, not the character. Yes, character plays a big role, but at the top level, it's dependent on the player to win. There are more ways than 1 to play a character, and that's what I loved about spectating Smash. Defensive play, offensive play, going ham play, flubbing and dropping your spaghetti play. It all matters, and that's why tier lists don't really matter... At least in Ultimate. After Bayo in smash 4, obvious results. In Ultimate though? Game's really balanced. Okay, I forgot about Steve. But I mean... MKLeo was really looking forward to facing those Steves. He had tweeted he was bummed about the ban of Steve before he got a chance to prove to everyone he can beat them. Dude was on the grind. Nonetheless though, I believe by the end of smash 4, MKLeo picked up Bayonetta and beat every other bayo. I wasn't there, I just think I heard it from MkLeo or something. Or maybe it was ZeRo?? But up until the end of ZeRo's Smash 4 career, he dominated even in the bayo meta because he was just that much better as the player. I do know that much.

So to shed some light on the smashville Pick in ROB vs Diddy it's bcuz 1 ROB is immediately in Diddys Burst range and can put him in a constant 50 50 with monkey flip (command grab is broken) ROB also doesn't have the space to camp Diddy effectively so Diddy wins neutral once and can grab Banana for free.(Diddy can also mash on ROB well) Any neutral win will put any character offstage their and then Tweek can pull banana or ledge trap or edge guard. Now to as to what he did wrong was letting Zomba control the pace. Tweek was definitely rushing and then just jumping but then not really following up or pressuring and let ROB (Zomba be first) and any time u let ROB be first he will run away with the stock. So he should have definitely incorporated more monkey flip to make it to where ROB is playing disadvantage much more often and then he could get his platform combos he loves with Diddy. Tweek also got a bit ticked off so the mental was off and Zomba played extremely well so there is no shame in losing. I ll say I love the intricacies in Nano situations u brought up Zero. W Vid. Stay Blessed. Hope u read and Reply 😂😂

I never knew how many mind games you play when you play Diddy. I love playing against Link because they get so frustrated when I take their bomb. They don't plan ahead like you who basically makes the projectile a trap to hold onto. It's also hilarious how shocked they are when I am good at using their bomb to gimp them off-stage or use it to stagger them into an arial. I think those of us who play items-on with friends are just better at throwing all different types of crap around the stage! Love the commentary!

Videos like this show that ZeRo has like an athlete's mentality. DaBuz is a WR who isn't very fast or tall, but he gets open due to route running and film, weak armed but accurate QB. Tweek is like the WR who runs 4.3s, 6'4", and can jump 35 inches and that is how he wants to play
