My old coworker was a hugeeeee rob thomas fan. Everytime the song 3am started, you’d hear that intro guitar and he’d look at me and say “my boy” regardless of the song, he made it clear that it was his song. Rob Thomas is a hero. His wife became very chronically ill. He stayed by her every hour. Never let up, they say. That was a long time ago, but it says a lot about his character given he's in the demanding music biz. He loves her very much.

I was lucky enough to be an extra in this, back in August 2009 in NYC. I am one of the parade marchers with a sign. I have been an extra on a lot of film and TV sets over the last 12 years but this is easily the set where everyone was nice and actually lived the message we sang. Rob Thomas is a great guy as well as talented. How happy we are really shows through.

Matchbox twenty was my favourite band as an 11 year old lad... 23 years later and nothing has changed. If you're a fan of Rob and Matchbox, get their albums and listen to them all. I am a huge believer in the fact that one song can have different meanings depending on how the person perceives it and the connection they have with it. I think, despite the video being very specific, that ANYONE can relate to the lyrics of this song. That's the beauty of music!! Both good days and bad days, I am very lucky to have found music like this that will keep on passing on. A song the world should take to heart during this quarantine.

In 2014, my mom went to a Rob Thomas concert. This was when she lived in a townhouse and couldn't afford much. She also got a VIP picture with Rob. Now every year on Jan 22, she goes to a concert of his in Atlantic City. My dream is to go to a concert with her and my stepdad in 2018. I have loved his songs since I was in preschool (the staff played it all the time). My parents have been divorced since I was 6. I want to make the most out of what God gives me. Stay strong

I used to call him " Early 2000's Bryan Adams" I still think that's an accurate description. He's also a super unique and special artist in his own right, he gives me the same feeling as Bryan, meaningful and you feel a certain way after listening to his songs.

My sister and I LOVE your music 🎶 and inspiration you give to so many !!” He actually halted the production and came across the street and thanked me and asked ME questions!! I couldn’t believe how awesome that was to do.. I didn’t know what he was doing except he was making some new video. I lost it. And two months later I saw this profound video.. and lost it again.
