People remember the Sharpshooter and turnbuckle bumps, but they don't remember that Bret was doing suicide dives and planchas and enzuguris and stuff like that before you saw it every show on AEW and WWE today. He was also doing ladder matches and other special gimmicks in Stampede that he brought as ideas to WWE which expanded their creativity. Add on the fact that his psychology was top notch and he was the excellence of execution . . . it is hard to say Bret is not one of the greatest of all time. He reached the top of the mountain in tag team and singles. Even though I was a fan, I didn't believe he was the best there is, best there was, and the best there ever will be when he started using that catchphrase. Now it is debatable and maybe true. He's up there with the best technicians and had way more personality than guys like Malenko, Benoit, and even Steamboat. He was more polished than Macho Man or Ric Flair. He was more believable than Hulk Hogan or the Undertaker. I'm also a big fan of RVD and would have loved to see him have a longer run in WWE.

Lol. Bret Hart was never as believable as Hogan. Hogan was a giant and looked believable as a World champion.

@@afdcg By size only. Everything else about Hogan was cartoon-like. I was a Hulkamaniac as a kid, but you can’t call his wrestling believable.

@@jasonbink5276 wrestling was never believable. Bret Hart never looked like a world champion. At least Hogan looked like a world champion to be believed. Even with Bret's best technical skills, I couldn't buy him beating Yokozuna and Bam bam bigelow. Hogan still was beliavble at beating all weights.
