@Matt Beckley Don't bother with those idiots. They have this mentality that people have to be "better" than someone. That humanity has this "alpha, beta" complex. In which we do not, that is just a bunch of bullshit. Just fuckin morons trying to intimidate others. Only thing that happens at that point in thinking is you have to be the last human alive ontop of the bones of your extinct race, to truly be better. "I win". These people usually live alone, disliked by everyone or commit suicide. So yeah, don't bother with them.

The man is an awesome dude. He isn't arrogant, he isn't pretentious. He's just a decent musician talking about his trade. Bless him, and let him explore his craft. This dude would back up some young kid with a wildly different style, trying to make a mark. Good on you, brother.

Saw Rob Zombie at Soundwave 2014. He jumped off the stage and then onto the guard rail, then as everyone tried grabbing for me, he grabbed my hand and kept singing. It was the best thing I've ever experienced at a concert

Never met in person but was in front row for his show a few weeks after this interview. I'd never seen him in concert before. His band opened for Disturbed and _killed_ them! I won't miss another opportunity to see them live. They put on an awesome show.

I remember those days. I was 11,12 in 1999. I was a full blown metal head that year especially after the self titled Slipknot album. I used to say the Rob Zombie was my dad! Shit, I literally just remembered that right now. I loved all of his movies. Not far after that I got into Death and Black & Doom Metal.

When I hear him on the radio, I can hardly remember if it's Sammy (solo), Sammy & The Waboritas, Van Hagar, Montrose or Chickenfoot. I just gave up trying.

Just saw Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson in the Hell Never Dies Tour', Aug2019. So like I'm 55 and he's 50, man he's got so much energy. His band put on a great show. (Manson, not so much ) LOL . The only way I could be like that, is with massive amounts of a white powdery substance. Lol

Considering the crazy names he gives his albums? I can't imagine anyone thinking up those NOT stoned. Hellbilly Deluxe: 13 Tales of Cadaverous Cavorting Inside the Spookshow International For one. Hellbilly Deluxe 2: Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls and the Systematic Dehumanization of Cool For another. Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor For another The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser Was the one Gruhammad had to remember at the end of this interview. Although the last one sounds more like Rob's version of The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, the book about Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters that Tom Wolfe wrote many years ago. And maybe more than pot smoking, I'd not be surprised if there was a bit of LSD dropping along the way...just saying.

Rob Zombie is generation X's Alice Cooper. And I will NEVER forget the episode of Headbangers Ball when he was asked to paint the set. Was supposed to be a one episode deal, but ended up being on there for several episodes.

I think I had the same record player as a kid. I wore out so many 45s and 33s on that thing. It was an orange and white molded plastic GE model #RP3150A machine of power! It folded up like a suitcase, so you could carry it anywhere.

I love that the way Rob's able to remember when his family was involved in a carnival riot, is because he remembers it's the same year KISS released "Love Gun," and he bought a KISS poster that year. That's pure rock.

this man is a god from my child hood i am a huge chucky fan and bride of chucky was my fave growing up and i was on a rode trip and my dad played rob zombie liveing dead girl and i was like "dad this is from chucky" and my dad nodded. and before my dad played rob zombie my brothers i have 2 brothers the middle brother (im the youngest and im a girl) was like "next is rob zombie next is rob zombie" and every time he said that he was right. i am now 15 and every time my mom and dad gets a new rob zombie cd i always take it and they keep buying the same cd. i love this man
